I'm still upset they didn't get Alan Silvestri back to score Age of Ultron too... That man has insane talent. The score to Avengers was literally the best thing about it for me, set the tone so bloody good. I've never liked any of Brian Tyler's scores, they always lack emotional punch, and they build up and down all over the place. Awful music. Just look at Iron Man 3 - the score was completely forgettable, I can't remember a single standout track from the whole movie. Ramin Djawadi did IM1 if I recall, and his music is incredible (just listen to his score for Clash of the Titans as an example), and Debney did alright with IM2, although his music was never exactly stellar. I only harp on about it because I'm a big movie score, uh, enthusiast, and a bad score can ruin a film for me. I want to be surprised, I really do!

Just a reminder that Marvel didn't make constantly bad posters, the Iron Man 3 is still one of my favorites: [t]http://addictable.de/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Iron-Man-3-Poster2.jpg[/t] They still need to get rid of the "Fuck proportions"-Guy.

Looks great!
just got back from cap 2 and boy is it awesome go see that shit
It must be so fun working in these movies, knowing you're a part of a bigger verse. That's why I want to get into Film & TV, really.
just got back from cap 2 and boy is it awesome go see that shit
I need to wait 2 weeks to be released here. ;_;
its well worth the wait! i think its probably the best stand alone yet
I just saw capt 2 and I thought it was pretty good, but not that amazing. Although saying that I really liked the first movie which seems to be hated by a lot of people, so maybe I just have a weird opinion.
i think phase 2 is a lot weaker than phase 1 so far but then again i havent seen Cap 2 yet so maybe my opinion will change
So does this movie take a lot from the NSA scandals? [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] The whole punishment before the crime thing.
Oh my god it was fantastic. To Zuimdoo, it doesn't focus on that exclusively. The punishment before the crime line is fairly early on in the film, it's mostly to set up Caps character direction and establish him as the good guy. [sp]I didn't get to see many Ultron specific references, but Wanda and Quicksilver being in it were awesome. Plus, lasering Steven Strange from 30,000 feet is something I'd like to see.[/sp]

Was Seoul a big part of the Comicverse? I was going to suggest they might be using it as Madripoor, but then I remembered that's Fox's side of the verse.
is hawkeye gonna tap that ass?
Just seen winter soldier, thought it was great and gets a nice shiny 'go watch it' from me. Just in case anyone's gonna see it but isn't aware of this by now, there's 2 extra scenes, 1 at the end of the film and 1 at the end of the credits. 2nd extra scene for those who are interested. [sp] Bucky goes to the museum and reads about his real self, strangely the soundtrack does not seem to indicate this as a good thing for some reason, though that could just be my interpretation of it [/sp]
Damn, missed that final scene. Movie was awesome though! One of my favorite Marvel films and I'm not even a Captain America fan. [sp]Abed and the cameos at the end were two highlights![/sp]
i think phase 2 is a lot weaker than phase 1 so far
eh, iron man 3 was better than 2 imo. thor 2 was also better than the first movie. iron man 1 is gonna be pretty hard to beat tho [editline]28th March 2014[/editline] also
holy shit Ultron is Kyle Katarn
eh, iron man 3 was better than 2 imo.
no
thor 2 was also better than the first movie.
debatable, they have ups and downs on each other, i think the pacing is too fast and it's over before you can really enjoy it.
iron man 1 is gonna be pretty hard to beat tho
truth, out of all the mcu im1 is top 3
My biggest problem with Thor 2 was all the Deus Ex Machina during the final sequence, but I liked everything else about it
My biggest problem with Thor 2 was all the Deus Ex Machina during the final sequence, but I liked everything else about it
I just watched it the other night and I can barely remember anything about that movie. Please explain.
I just watched it the other night and I can barely remember anything about that movie. Please explain.
basically like, [sp]all the random teleporting between worlds shit that saved Thor from being crushed by the giant falling spaceship, and Jane randomly finding a portal back to Earth in that cave[/sp]
Ahhh yes, that. I know what you mean... of all the worlds in all the cosmos where all the portals are appearing, THAT was where it was and THAT was exactly where they managed to walk right to amidst the storm. I guess by that point most people are just dulled to the silliness of most of it. It's all action-packed hyperpaced craziness and you switch some things off in your head.

I didn't even realise [sp] how convenient that portal back to earth was[/sp]. I just wrote it off as comic logic.
I didn't even realise [sp] how convenient that portal back to earth was[/sp]. I just wrote it off as comic logic.
[sp]The portal to earth was like, reasonably believable, because she found it following her phone signal, but when the spaceship was going to fall on Thor, but then it landed on the dark elf man (he has a weird name i can't remember) was just like seriously? Thor didn't even do anything that was just blind luck[/sp]
Personally I think they should have done all the earth bound heros before the Avengers and introduced Thor and the other space heros after the Avengers to build it up a bit more.
no debatable, they have ups and downs on each other, i think the pacing is too fast and it's over before you can really enjoy it. truth, out of all the mcu im1 is top 3
~opinions~
