I didnt hear any gasps. If you have enough interest in CA to recognize [sp] sebastian stan[/sp], you probably already know who the winter soldier really is
My little nephew actually said, "That's a man?" apparently he thought it was a women because of the long hair
Did anyone else get a huge gasp in their theater when the Winter Soldier took his mask off? I really don't get it, 'cause if I didn't know who he was going in, I sure as hell wouldn't have been able to recognize the actor from that.
even if you had seen the trailers (which showed him without the mask at points) you would have realized it was bucky, providing you had seen and remembered him from tfa.

Me and some random guy a couple rows in-front did a holyshit/fuckyes gasp when [sp]Stephen Strange[/sp] was name dropped.

Unless they introduce him in Dr. Strange, I feel like Loki will be taking over Mephisto's role in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline.

I loved the music in Cap 2 but the Soundtrack release didn't really do it justice. I wanted more themes like this, and there plenty of great moments but I really wanted the theme in this track:

Watched Thor the Dark World.
It seems to me like one of those films that's so bad, it's good. At times it felt like it was trying to be Star Wars combined with Lord of the Rings. Also, didn't care for the constant comic relief moments.
I did like Natalie Portman just cause I got the hots for her (long time celebrity crush) and I thought the ending fight scene cause it was funny seeing Thor and that dark elf guy going through Portals.
I guess it wasn't a bad film, but just weak compared to Ironman or Captain America.
On a side note, I wonder if the credits bonus scene is for the Avengers or just for the next Thor sequel.
Evans was joined by his Captain America co-star Hayley Atwell (aka Peggy Carter) for the said scene(s), but they weren't alone. A reliable source reports that British actor Paul Bettany, whose longtime Iron Man voice role J.A.R.V.I.S. will become the humanoid Vision in Age of Ultron, was also on set today.
Maybe[sp]Paul Bettany is playing Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch, and WWII-era superhero, whose robotic body was used by Ultron to build the Vision[/sp]

Guardians of the Galaxy.
And Thor 2 was great. Much better than the first one. Some people just need to get used to all the fantasy stuff it is about.

[sp]I have a feeling Tony Stark is integral in creating Ultron and HYDRA is part of the reason Ultron becomes a genocidal maniac. The fact that Paul Bettany is both JARVIS and Vision, I don't think is an accident either.[/sp]

So we're getting more WW2 flashbacks?
[sp]Did anyone notice that when Tony Stark was being targeted, the Stark tower was completely converted to the Avengers Tower?[/sp]
[sp]Did anyone notice that when Tony Stark was being targeted, the Stark tower was completely converted to the Avengers Tower?[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, even though it was only in shot for less than a second or something it made me pretty excited[/sp]
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes has gotten better, but they're still throwing names and characters about with little exposition, including what SHIELD and HYDRA actually are other than "kind of well-meaning guys that get in the way" and "bad guys" respectively. But hey, I like Ant Man and Wasp's interactions.
Justice League had on-screen Hitler and Mengele. Avengers: EMH doesn't even have Captain America punching Hitler in the face.
Just watched the first episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and my first impressions are that they imprisioned Alan Moore in a giant buttplug in the middle of New York.
Did you watch the solo episodes? The Alan Moore Manhattan Buttplug is episode seven. Each Avenger had their own episode, Iron Man's deals with SHIELD, and Cap's deals with HYDRA. The Nazis and Hitler don't show up because the producers were given the choice between Nazis and guns.
So, watching CA2 made me interested in making ofs...
... do you guys know a good place to find 'em? And some recommendations, maybe?
Just watched Cap 2 and loved it, now to watch the latest AoS episode!

Hold the fucking phone. Vision has been confirmed? Fuck yeah!

I hope [sp]Vision is actually just JARVIS or a modified JARVIS or something similar, since the ending of Iron Man 3 when he controlled the suits was great[/sp]
Ultron should sound like Scarecrow's voice effect from Arkham Knight trailer combined with James Spader
So, watched Winter Soldier again yesterday - still awesome - and had a thought while the ending played out:
[sp]We never see the 3rd Insight Helicarrier actually crash. It is crashing, but never actually lands.[/sp]
I mean, it probably happens, but we don't see it happening. Probably nothing, but you never know.
Isn't that the one that Cap and [sp] Bucky [/sp] are on?
Paul Bettany on Vision:
"Oh, [he] can do all sorts of things," said Paul Bettany on Jimmy Kimmel Live! of the Vision's powers in Avengers: Age of Ultron. "But I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who will actually wrestle me to the ground and fire me." After commenting that Marvel "pick and choose" powers and abilities from the comics, Bettany went on to discuss going from to just lending his voice to J.A.R.V.I.S. to now physically playing a character. "It's very exciting for me, but everything's a double-edged sword because I was playing JARVIS for years," he said. "My job was I would turn up at a recording studio for 45 minutes, do all my stuff, they would give me a huge bag of cash, and then I would go home. Now, it turns out they've found me out and they want me to actually, ya know, do something. It's not right," joked the actor.
Yeah, [sp]it gets pretty wrecked, but last we see of it, it's just kinda cruising down the Potomac raining debris.[/sp]
Also, when does the statute of limitations run out on Winter Soldier spoilers? It's been two weeks since it came out in America, where it came out last, and people are talking openly about Avengers 2 spoilers.
give it a few more weeks for international releases

just keep them tagged for like 2 months, it's a movie with several pretty huge reveals and it would be a much worse experience with previous knowledge of them
