None of the media I've seen HYDRA in have talked about racial purity or anything like that... They seem perfectly content to fuck about with genetics.
Most Hydra WWII commanders were Nazis that didn't think the Nazis were doing enough. There have been a lot of Hydras, since after WWII they split into multiple different factions leading to the Hydra Civil War, until it was reunited under the rule of Baron Strucker, one of the uberNazis responsible for WWII Hydra. In the comics there's currently two different Hydras, both led by Nazis.

[sp]Also do any of them have swatzikas or octoskulls on their tits?[/sp] [editline]18th April 2014[/editline] And EMH has somehow gotten me to hate Maria Hill.
[sp]Also do any of them have swatzikas or octoskulls on their tits?[/sp]
As far as I'm aware, Frank Miller has never written for Marvel.
As far as I'm aware, Frank Miller has never written for Marvel.
But they got Mark Millar.
But they got Mark Millar.
Thankfully, it seems he's been relegated to the Icon imprint.
And Joe Quesadea? Is Chuck Austin still getting work?
Quesada - Editor-in-chief, occasionally contributes cover art Austen - Fired in 2004, hasn't been brought back
Alright, what bright spark decided it was a good idea to [sp]let SHIELD and Bitch!Maria Hill in charge of all the worlds nukes[/sp]? That's even dumber than making all-powerful AI, I quite like the idea of AI. At least smart people who make AI leave safety measures.

[sp]So Bucky killed Howard Stark, and Tony is probably going to want to kill Bucky if he finds out.[/sp]
[sp]it wasn't stated that bucky killed howard, just that hydra seemed to be behind his death though that would be quite the conundrum if it was indeed bucky[/sp]
[sp]it wasn't stated that bucky killed howard, just that hydra seemed to be behind his death though that would be quite the conundrum if it was indeed bucky[/sp]
[sp]Maybe, but its very possible that Bucky did it. It was referenced that the WS operated many assassinations of important people over the last X many years. Pierce even says it "you helped shape the century"[/sp]
Bitch!Maria Hill: "The Avengers put people at risk" Lady, who heads the organision with the capacity to launch ALL the nukes in the world? Jesus Chirst, SHIELD is dumb as fuck, both in the films and the cartoon. SHIELD have literally contributed nothing at all to the world at this point. Also years past speculation on season 2 of Earth's Mightiest Heroes: [sp]Skrull!Cap got the data on Stark Industries and that's why he is the one that supposedly doomed Earth in the future.[/sp] Also, do Skrulls pass the Harkness test? [editline]20th April 2014[/editline] Also, season 2's intro sucks.
Also, season 2's intro sucks.
After episode 12 the whole series sucks.
Why? When does Ms Marvel appear? Do she and Wasp (and to a lesser degree, Ant-Man) get any cool moments at all in season 2? If not I might call it quits soon. Terrible joke: Whoa are the oldest and most wise shapeshifters in the Marvel Universe? [sp]The Elder Skrulls![/sp]

Terrible joke: Whoa are the oldest and most wise shapeshifters in the Marvel Universe? [sp]The Elder Skrulls![/sp]
Ms Marvel appears from the forth episode, and every Avenger gets some focus. Scott Lang becomes Ant-Man and has his own episode, with the Heroes for Hire. Halfway through season two, the original producers get moved to Marvel Studios, and get replaced by Jeph Loeb and Man of Action (Ben 10). The writing goes down in quality, the show only wants to focus on the big four, despite the first half of the season introducing as many new characters as possible, and Loeb's hatred for continuity kicks in. First 12 episodes are really good though.
Aww, I like Hanky Panky, dispite the whole Ultron thing...
Aww, I like Hanky Panky, dispite the whole Ultron thing...
He fakes his death and becomes Yellowjacket later on.
He fakes his death and becomes Yellowjacket later on.
I know who this "Yellowjacket" is, but he sounds disappointing.
I know who this "Yellowjacket" is, but he sounds disappointing.
He's exactly the same as Ant-Man, just slightly more psycho.
He's exactly the same as Ant-Man, just slightly more psycho.
I like Hank Pym, not Ant-Man (mostly).
So Marvel did a video showing off the Marvel area of Innovations in Disneyland:
It's clearly a temporary display... compare it to the announced Iron Man Experience for Hong Kong Disneyland, the two touring shows they're doing and the the Avengers play area on the Disney Magic cruise line. They're just getting the tip of their feet wet with Marvel stuff on the theme parks (all of the above plus the characters appearing for meet n' greets in the park), so it'll be a while once we see actual rides on the US Parks... especially in Orlando, where they're still bound to that deal that lets Universal have exclusivity for Marvel stuff on theme parks. [editline]22nd April 2014[/editline] Also, getting a little bit of my Disney nerd side in here, it's kind of disappointing that they stuffed a minimized version of the bad replacement to EPCOT's CommuniCore in the building where the Carousel of Progress once stood.

Don't really understand how some people think that films like Thor 2 and TWS are just supposed to be filler to entertain the masses until the next Avengers comes out. I know that personally I wouldn't have cared as much about the three main members in the first Avengers if they didn't have their own solo adventures to flesh out their characters.
well, they are technically filler for the next avengers flick we just get to see what they do between major events, that's all.
I'd say less so TWS, because there's alot of things in that movie that will probably be very important in Age of Ultron.
well, they are technically filler for the next avengers flick we just get to see what they do between major events, that's all.
So no essential character development and plot events happens at all in those Phase 2 films? [sp]Thor getting to stay on earth while Loki takes the Asgardian throne, the destruction of many of Stark's suits as well as his home, the collapse of SHIELD, the emergence of HYDRA, and the appearance of a possible future Captain America replacement[/sp] won't have some sort of ripple effect in the MCU? To me filler doesn't even need to be watched to better understand the big picture unless you absolutely love the characters, like The Incredible Hulk.
you're overstating things all the phase 1 films setup for the avengers, but you can watch the avengers without having seen the first phase i'm sure the same will be for avengers 2
you're overstating things all the phase 1 films setup for the avengers, but you can watch the avengers without having seen the first phase i'm sure the same will be for avengers 2
Not really. You barely know anything about the characters and what their collective deals are in Avengers unless you've seen the other phase one films. At best you get vague explanations, but without seeing the phase one movies you're still in the dark for the most part. I'm guessing that Avengers 2 will be even worse in that aspect, especially since Captain America 2 is such a major game changer that the state of events come Avengers 2 will be absolutely nothing like in the first one, and people who don't see the phase 2 films will be absolutely lost without that knowledge.
