While attending the Hollywood red carpet premiere of Iron Man 3, Yahoo Movies caught up with Joss Whedon, writer-director of Marvel’s The Avengers to discuss the status of the highly anticipated 2015 sequel. In the video, which you can see below, Whedon confirmed that he recently finished a first draft of the script for The Avengers 2, and that “we’re in a really good place.” And then, Whedon dropped this little bit of info… “I’ve got these two characters… two of my favorite characters from the comic book… a brother-sister act… THEY’RE in the movie, that’s exciting.”
?
I don't care if they're DC, it's definitely the Wonder Twins played by Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal

I love the Maximoff twins but them being mutants is like 50% of their character, with Fox owning the rights to Marvels mutants, its going to be hard to pull off. Plus their costumes have always been really goofy, I hope they dont give them the Hawkeye treatment and make their new costumes too boring however.

If thats the case and since we seen the guy who plays in TASM with avenger thanos comics, they may have come up with a deal for both parties!
Spider-Man is owned by Sony. Sorry to rain on the parade.
Spider-Man is owned by Sony. Sorry to rain on the parade.
3 way deal! mutants in avengers + spiderman spiderman + wolverine etc
Apparently they were going to strike some kind of deal with Sony?
Saw Iron Man 3 today. It was a enjoyable movie, but they certainly made some interesting choices though. A [sp]With the Mandarin not actually being the Mandarin, and the real Mandarin not resembling the comic character in any way.[/sp] Lots of inconsistencies too. [sp]How exactly do you kill an Extremis user anyway? They take insane amounts of punishment, but the Woman is killed relatively easily in the diner. Also with the suits getting increasingly fragile as the movie progresses, especially at the end where they're destroyed in a single hit by Killian.[/sp] Edit; Oh, there an actual Iron Man 3 thread I missed. Was wondering why nobody was really dicussing it.
Going to see Iron Man 3 on Thursday, be prepared for a "I enjoyed it" or "It wasn't very enjoyable to me" and nothing else.
Marvel movies are fairly inconsistent about the power levels of their heroes.[sp]Sometimes it gets really weird. A truck broke the iron man suit into pieces but sometimes things that hit harder than a truck driving on a road don't break it apart. Also does it mean that the Extremis users hit harder than Thor? The Iron Man suits were breaking apart everywhere in the climax[/sp].

Though that kinda goes out the window with the ending sequence.[/sp] Also, that one suit with the hidden blade. Low-tech, but surprisingly practical.
Avengers 2 in trouble. Nobody wants to sign to star in the movie due to money. Remember Ed Norton dropped out of Avengers because they refused to pay him fairly? Marvel is at it again. It still insists on paying Downey Jr way more than everybody else. As a result nobody is signing up for Avengers 2. Chris Evans has already signed up (did so at the same time as CA2). But the other actors are holding their ground. Apparently the studio is going to sue them and recast if they don't just sign. So Downey Jr is being a hero and also refusing to sign unless his colleagues are paid fairly and aren't treated like shit. Saw Iron Man 3. Better than Iron Man 2, not as good as Iron Man, but still a good film.
Avengers 2 in trouble. Nobody wants to sign to star in the movie due to money. I'm surprised Disney would do such a dick move with such a profitable franchise.

And then he shoots Thanos in the nuts at the end of Avengers 2.
Finally, a place for all those lesser Marvel villains
I wonder which show it's going to be like most: Buffy or Angel? I'm not including Firefly and Dollhouse since Firefly is all about how we don't always win in life and... I've never properly watched Dollhouse, so I have no basis.

That and it might be easier to take them apart with nobody inside, not sure[/sp]

Also his suits in Iron Man 3 were built under a sleep-deprived state and they're not as structurally sound.[/sp]
[sp]Also JARVIS is probably a shitty pilot[/sp]
Totally Luke Cage.
Speedball.
It's going to be awkward when The Avengers will find out.
Each member will stand in line, rotating, telling Fury what a gigantic naughty penis he is.
Totally Luke Cage.
Whoever he is, he's being played by J. August Richards who played Gunn on Angel.
