I can see why people aren't really interested in being involved on Ant-Man. He is a fairly ridiculous superhero. I mean, yeah, there's a guy with a huge hammer and a big green scientist, but for most people these are ok compared to a dude who can talk to ants and change his size and is called Ant-Man.
Forgive my ignorance about Ant-Man but how does he actually function as a super-hero? I don't really read comic books so I haven't seen how his powers are utilised.

he can grow or shrink in size, though when he shrinks he keeps the strength he has in his regular size
