GET YOUR ASS TO MARS

I'm gonna be a bit of a newb. Who is that guy?
Just watch the original Total Recall. It will answer all your questions.

I'm referring to the guy with the Infinity Gauntlet.
I'm referring to the guy with the Infinity Gauntlet.
Buzz Aldrin, second man to step on the Moon.
I'm referring to the guy with the Infinity Gauntlet.
Oh.
Buzz Aldrin, second man to step on the Moon.
Yeah. That guy.
I find it a little hard to believe that someone wouldn't be able to recognize one of the first men to step upon the moon. Mostly because he seems to make an appearance in every space-related movie/show in the history of forever.
Looks like we're getting an Inhumans movie

Believe or not, but outside US, Aldrin is not that famous at all. Sometimes he's mentioned, but never to the scale of Armstrong.
And finding somebody who isn't particularly interested in space missions and Apollo 11 and who knows about Michael Collins? Yeah, good luck.
Do you guys think a major character (besides the villain) will be killed in the Avengers 2?
I'm probably gonna get dumbed for this, but I see it as one of these three.
Hawkeye - He's gonna have a "super important role" and is one of the less popular Avengers. I don't know if they'd be willing to screw Renner and his fans over like that, though.
Quicksilver - They would likely do this just to show what Scarlet Witch does in response, but I still think it's a possibility. Besides, another version of him exists in the X-Men series. But seeing as he's being introduced in AoU, they might not end him that quickly.
Thor - I might be wrong about this, but as I understand it Thor (and I'm assuming others) can basically escape the afterlife by fighting his way out. Then he can come back strong in Thor 3. Correct me if I'm wrong about this, though.
I was also going to predict Captain America, because I heard something about Chris Evans wanting to retire and it would make room for Bucky to take over in Captain America 3. Then they released plot details about Cap 3, and it seems like Steve is going to make it through AoU just fine.

Honestly I think a couple possibilities exist (from most likely to least):
Iron Man/Tony Stark: Bearing in mind that, what we know of the sequel and of Ultron is that it is a personal story rooted by Ultron's god complex and Stark's creation of such a being. It would not surprise me if Stark is forced to destroy his greatest creation at the same time destroying himself. This showing that neither is a god and there is consequence and responsibility in creation (something that Stark has wrestled with since the first Iron Man film). Not to mention, I believe Robert Downey Jr.'s contract with Marvel is coming to a close.
Rhodey/War Machine: It's possible that Rhodey may attempt to help Tony or take his place. But Ultron shows his remorseless homicidal tendencies by killing his creators best friend.
Thor: What better way to to prove you are superior let alone a god than by killing an actual god.
I truly believe Stark will die though. It just seems to make the most sense and acts as a good end to the character. I think killing Hawkeye would just be too low a blow because he's barely had a chance to shine. He and Black Widow really need a buddy film.
Has anyone seen the after-credits of 'The Guardians of the Galaxy'? If so, you don't think they're gonna make a movie out of you-know-who, do you?
Oh, yeah. GotG was pretty awesome; Batista put on a better performance than I expected.

Also, how the hell are they going to pull off an 'Ant Man' movie? Having the ability to shrink has to be one of the lamest super-powers out there.
They already confirmed that was a joke.

I'm listening to an audiobook of the Marvel Comics biography written by Sean Howe.
It's hilarious listening to lines like "Stan Lee tried to push forward an Ant-Man movie, but the producers at New World Entertrainment had no idea what he saw on the character. 'All he can do is shrink to the size of an ant, go through a keyhole and look at some papers.' One of them said. 'It'll never happen.'"
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Filming on Ant-Man will begin on Monday:

Well, it is Ultron, I think I saw someone say that he was tied to Tony Stark, that's wrong, he was Hank Pym's creation, Hank being Ant-Man (interesting timing, coincidence?) and was equal enemy to all of the Avengers, both as a unit and in their individual comics, however, Iron Man and Vision are the closest to Ultron, due to them being reliant on AI's and Robotic Suits, on top of that, RDJ's contract is up with this Avengers, so he won't be in another Iron Man movie, or Avengers, so whether they're introducing Vision as a replacement to Iron Man, similar to the prospect of Bucky possibly replacing the Cap (like in multiple multiple Marvel Universes) is yet to be seen.
However, if any main hero is going to be facing a permanent death in the next Avengers, it would definitely make sense for it to be Iron Man. It would also have the potential of being a pretty great story, Iron Man was the start of the Avengers, what better way to usher in a new era of Heroes than with his death?
In the movie it's Tony stark who creates him
apparently the teaser for age of ultron has stark standing around cap n thor lying on the ground.
I wish they didn't reveal [sp]Thanos[/sp] in Guardians of the Galaxy. It underrated and too soon for such a major character in later films.

[sp]He was first shown in the sting at the end of Avengers. People thought he might be the big bad of Avengers 2 but then they ended up announcing GotG. He's clearly going to be the overarching big bad of the GotG films, which you can bet your ass they're going to milk. Don't expect him to be dealt with any time soon.[/sp]
[sp]With the whole Infinity Stone angle they're taking the films now, I would personally place my money on them keeping Thanos in the shadows until Avengers 3 or a much later Guardians film, or perhaps a crossover, and have Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet be the big bang ending of the series or something like that.[/sp]
spoilers just in case, I dunno

To me, having him in GotG isn't "keeping him in the shadows".
To me, having him in GotG isn't "keeping him in the shadows".
"In the shadows" meaning he's always the man behind the man, so to speak.

I think it would have been better if they kept him [sp]as a holographic face in Ronan's ship, much like the Emperor in Star Wars Empire Strikes Back[/sp]
More mysterious (for now) in my opinion which leaves a bit of fear of the unknown for the future villain.

I have that same hat.
Looks like they are re-releasing the [sp]Howard the Duck[/sp] Omnibus in October. Seems like they might have future MCU plans for him.
