could be that loki solo film finally getting off the ground.
it's a reason to use a great character who's played by a great actor without having to shoehorn him into other films, honestly it'd be pretty good
I think the second D should be larger.
Yeah, I like large Ds
Rumours continue to swell (since Andrew Garfield was spotted with a massive pile of Avengers Thanons comics) that Spiderman is heading to the MCU:
Sony, on the other hand, may be doing things the opposite way. While I can't get the confirmations I need to verify the story, I'm hearing that there are some very cool "Spider-Man" plans being discussed that would help Sony refocus their enormously important franchise while also opening up some connections in the onscreen Marvel movie universe that would blow fandom's minds. Will it work out? I don't know. I would love to be able to state for sure that it's happening. What seems clear from what I've heard is that Marvel wants to be able to play with all of their characters, and if they can make that work creatively and on a corporate level, they will, and that means the world gets bigger again.
I imagine that if this is coming it's been in planning for a while. Sony has already demonstrated a friendliness to MCU (Oscorp tower was set to appear in the skyline during Avengers). Fox however wants to keep it all in the family and the chances of a crossover there is almost impossible.

It's a shame because while we still got Downey playing Iron man, Evans as Cap, Garfield as Spiderman and Jackman as Wolverine it would be good to get them all on one screen together. It's the golden age of comic book movies. Ten years from now it will still be reflected on positively. It would be great to have these actors in the roles together before contracts expire. Downey is already expressed concern that he's nearly 50 with two kids and doesn't want to be working all the time.
If there's one thing I like about the new Spider-Man franchise is Garfield when he puts on the Spider-Man costume.
If only the stuff he was doing in those movies wasn't horrible.
The only good thing about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was [sp]Gwen's death scene.[/sp]
[editline]banana[/editline]
To clarify [sp]I don't mean it's good becuase she died, just that it was a very well done scene. Everything else was awful, Jamie Foxx's blue skinned Electro that turned bad for NO REASON, with his dubstep rap inner monologue and Rhino just being a normal asshole with a shitty mech suit for 30 seconds, and that terrible Goblin. The whole movie was pretty bad.[/sp]
Spider-Man coming into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? That's a big deal. But get this: it's the THIRD DIFFERENT Spider-Man plan I've heard in the last week. Other things I've heard from insiders:
- Sony is going to soft reboot Spider-Man with The Sinister Six, having a new actor playing a Spidey who works with the villains The Dirty Dozen style to take down a larger threat.
- Sony is going to put Spider-Man on the shelf for four or five years and see if they can develop any of the side characters into their own franchises.
I've also heard that Venom is functionally dead again.
Oh my god, this is hilarious.
You are now realizing that, if Spider-Man 4 was made (the film that featured Spider-Man having an affair with Anne Hathaway, accidentally killing John Malcovitch, and hanging up the mask in depression after MJ took their new baby and left for California), Amazing Spider-Man wouldn't have been made.
So the rights would have reverted and Spider-man would be incorporated into the MCU.
wasn't it announced a while ago that after ASM3 garfield was dropping out?
I think that if they gave Dane DeHaan the role of venom, it could work out really well. Especially because the director of Chronicle, is also directing venom.
(If it's true that Venom is having issues)
Especially because the director of Chronicle, is also directing venom.
Nope. The director of venom has changed numerous times plus been rumored to be a lot of things as well. The final actual director is Alex Kurtzman, who was a writer for the Transformers movie. Well, assuming that one rumor listed above isn't true and venom is still being developed.

Oh darn
Could we see RDJ in AOS?

He did an AMA today http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2ikmuz/robert_downey_jr_avengers_member_emerson_lake/
That would be pretty neat, especially if they had like a two-part show featuring him.
Nick Fury was the best bit of Agents of Shield

Let's hope they don't call it Iron M4n.

Why in the world would they do that :v:
DareDevil footage from NYCC:
A woman slowly opens the door to an apartment (It's Page), there's blood on the floor and the room is dark. She fins something in a vent. Someone sneaks up behind her and attacks her, slamming her into the wall and knocking her to the ground. And in comes Daredevil, in what looks like is likely an early makeshift costume - yeah, it's all black, straight up ninja lookng. Big fight scene commences, and both men go crashing through a window onto the rain-soaked pavement below.

Loeb announced that Dawson is Claire Temple, "a Nurse who works at Night," as he said.
A clip showing Claire taking care of the injured Matt Murdock after pulling him off the street.

And then, a clip of Vanessa and Wilson Fisk meeting for the first time. She is a gallery worker and he's looking at a piece of art. There is very interesting cinematography. Close shots of Fisk's fingers twitching and his cuff link. It's a very soft, nuanced scene - not something we've seen a lot of in these types of movies and shows.
"Our Wilson Fisk is a child and he's a monster," D'Onofrio said. "Everything he does comes from his foundation of morality inside himself. Meeting Vanessa, the one thing she does for him so far is brings him out of the shadows." He praised how personal they make it all and said it's a blast so far.

Loeb then introduced a clip of the offices of Nelson and Murdock. Matt, Karen, and Foggy are sitting down for a dinner that Karen made them after they successfully got her off for a crime. "I did notice you could use some help around here," Page said, and was hired by the duo.

With that, Loeb said that the scene shown at the start of the panel was "only half a scene, and you guys need to see the rest of it," and the clip started up again.
After hitting the pavement out the window, we see a child asleep at a table. It's young Matt. His dad says, "get up, mtt." He tries to get him studying more. The young Matt is already blind, and touches his dad's beaten and bloody face. "Come on, Matty, get to work." And we see the adult Matt in his makeshift costume get back up. He starts to fight the perp again, using sounds to get the advantage. Karen Page comes outside and says "Who? What the hell?"
And the panel ended on that!
Loving all this Daredevil stuff.

Frank Miller why are you so good
Has their actually been any official image of the red suit? All the art and posters I've seen so far have been the early black suit. Even the Netflix poster above has him in that outfit (notice the belt and trainers).
I'm willing to bet the Netflix first season won't have him in red until the end/Defenders. They did say the stories are incredibly down to earth and stripped back, they even said the costumes are down to earth and "not in the clouds".

i would love if they go from black to yellow to red.
apparently i'm in the minority when i say i actually prefer the yellow suit to other daredevil suits.

Compare that to this:
[t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nxo-uz59UkY/UpRjZcCrL5I/AAAAAAAAAw0/rmIHKkKl3xY/s1600/dd.gif[/t]
that's why i said transition
show the evolution of the character through various stages of the costume
much like in the raimi spider-man flicks.
