I would say RDJ being confirmed to be in Avengers 3 confirms he lives.
I don't think the civil war has been confirmed false yet. Something someone says a month ago can change, that's what pre-production of the movie is for. Figuring out what you're going to do, and if someone came up with a good script for civil war then they could use.

They pretty much covered all of Captain America's bigger villains in previous movies, I dunno what else they could do unless they yet again make it HYDRA.
Maybe Baron Zemo or Sin, but since HYDRA is going to make an appearance in Avengers II, I'm running out of ideas for Captain America to fight in his third movie.

Not sure how that will play out in Avengers 2. I would imagine finding Bucky would be the number one priority for Cap, not what he's doing in Avengers 2 (at least at the beginning of the movie).

There was some quote from Whedon or somebody where they said finding Bucky was absolutely Cappy's priority, except sometimes you have to take time off to deal with a marauder murderbot as that's a problem that only gets worse if you ignore it.

So, we taking bets as to what the Post-Credits scene is about?
I'd say Ant-Man is most likely, though Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, or more cosmic junk could always be an incredibly hype possibility.
so I'm guessing [sp] They find out that Iron Man has been secretly making ways to take out the team in case any of them go bad and this splits the group. Banner get's scared that he actually fought Iron Man and that's why he is in the straight jacket and they may actually send him to space.
