In the party scene, who's the lady in the red dress? I saw Scarlet & Cobie in the background
In the party scene, who's the lady in the red dress? I saw Scarlet & Cobie in the background
Some poeple think it's Claudia Kim as "doctor/scientist and friend of Tony Stark"
Got really excited thinking that it was Ron Perlman or Tom Waits narrating. I had no idea James Spader could sound like that?!
so I'm guessing [sp] They find out that Iron Man has been secretly making ways to take out the team in case any of them go bad and this splits the group. Banner get's scared that he actually fought Iron Man and that's why he is in the straight jacket and they may actually send him to space.
I feel like Avengers 2 can set up the civil war in capt 3. (yes I still believe cap 3 is going to in some shape or form be about the civil war) [/sp]
Actually, here's my theory (which is mixed with actual plot spoilers so beware):
[sp]Ultron's very first body is an old ironman suit and he starts his thing by taking over the other ironman suits. Odds are, that was Ultron in that ironman mech fighting the Hulk[/sp]
So, we taking bets as to what the Post-Credits scene is about?
I'd say Ant-Man is most likely, though Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, or more cosmic junk could always be an incredibly hype possibility.
Thanos again, maybe? Just to hype up Avengers 3
Goddamn James Spader. That voice.
[sp]Odds are, that was Ultron in that ironman mech fighting the Hulk[/sp]
Nope, [sp]Scarlet Witch uses her hex powers to make Hulk hallucinate the space whale from The Avengers, and he goes on a rampage[/sp]

You clearly haven't watched The Blacklist.
Ultron sounds like a pissed off Raymond Reddington. :v:
MCU finally gets a bad ass villain that could become as iconic as it's heroes.
Granted, they don't have the rights to the best marvel villains (Doom, Goblin and Magneto), and they did a good job with Loki.
But Ultron feels like a selling point for the movie, and I don't think a Marvel film has managed that with it's villains so far. How exciting.
It's true I haven't heard about Ultron before this movie but I'm not a huge fan of the humanoid face at the end of the trailer.
So Ryan Gosling has apparently been approached/eyed by both Marvel and DC.
Marvel side it's rumored he talked with marvel about becoming doctor strange, which although he doesn't fit the image of it, I wouldn't mind him being Strange as I am a fan of him.
DC side, he is apparently eyed to be apart of the suicide squad.
Personally I want him to be on Marvel's side, I don't know much of Suicide Squad so I don't know how well he'd fit one of those roles.
I love Ryan Gosling. But I though Joaquin Phoenix was supposed to be in talks, and I think phoenix would fit the role better.
Wonder what hero or villain Gosling could play well?

It's said that Phoenix decided against playing Strange.
I'm not sure who Ryan Gosling could play, haven't put much thought of it.
Marvel got the rights back to The Punisher right?
Hopefully they bring back Thomas Jane.
Christ James Spader's voice is chilling
It's probably not his final form, it's the form seen in set pics

the final form is in promo image from EW which looks a little more like his comic form

I'd be angry though if the human look was his final form
that version at the bottom is by far the coolest version of him
I really hope the Ultron with an expressive face isn't his final form.
Climax should be the gaping, robot ant maw, crackling with red energy.
I think I'll go and buy the Age of Ultron comics in a few days.
I know the movie won't be anything like it, but the trailer has definitely hyped my attention for him.
I like James Spader, but as Ultron? I'd have to see it.
And I have now seen it. The Spade is going to rock in this.
If Cap 3 is really about Civil War, I think I might totally drop ship.
Civil War was absolutely terrible; why would anybody want to adapt it to a movie?
It's fun to see heroes fight one another/have conflict

i thought it was established that this promo uses image of his "ultron bots".
Pretty sure, his "face" is his final form.
Yeah, I also feel the emotionless face will be for his drones and the more human one is the main Ultron. Which sucks in my opinion.

What if Ultron only makes his humanoid face to talk, just like how Tony sometimes talks
without covering his face in armor?

Maybe Ultron switches to robotic look whenever he battles. Just like Tony.
i doubt it
It would be rather redundant to do that.
i dont like disagreeing with everyone else just for the sake of it, but i legitimately think the human like ultron looks pretty cool and menacing, wouldnt mind it if he was the final form
i dont like disagreeing with everyone else just for the sake of it, but i legitimately think the human like ultron looks pretty cool and menacing, wouldnt mind it if he was the final form
I agree, really. The stoic one would be cool too, but seeing as we'll most likely watch the evolution of Ultron from machine to monster, it makes sense he'd gradually make himself look more human in his final form. It goes with the whole "...There are no strings on me." Because now he believes himself to be above all other machines and organisms. Plus, just look at that final shot, there's so much contempt in his eyes, it's hard not to be intimidated by it.
I'm still not crazy about the expressive Ultron face.
I like when he's an emotionless machine.
Something so much scarier about an inanimate object looking at you and saying matter-of-factly that everyone on earth is going to die.
And then he does it.
Hell, just imagine this in live-action with James Spader's voice:
