The MCU needs a recurring villain that doesn't die in their first appearance. The only one in that category is Loki.

There are a lot of really good comic villains besides the ones listed that Marvel doesn't have and they really shouldn't be put aside for something original (and hasn't as much potential as a character or have fans hyped for) and waste the chance of bringing to life something the fans want to see.

Doctor Doom doesn't (Latveria is something he rules using cult of personality), he's like the Batman of villains. And thing is, he's REALLY good at it. Also, with Doctor Strange being in the works, you can get into the occult shit that he gets into.

With Benedict as Doctor Strange, I'm not really looking forward to the movie as much as I have been. He just doesn't seem to be fit for what I thought Strange would be in a movie.

I'm gonna guess this is to announce their new slate. And if their new slate has more info on Cap 3, Spidey might follow. Also, shed some light on Ant-Man.

Captain Marvel looks like quick and rushed response to DC's Wonder Woman.

Additional info: Black Panther will be introduced in Captain America: Civil War. He will already be in full costume. Looks like the days of origin movies are moving on. Hulk solo movie. "We'll see for now". He will appear "with his friends in other movies". No news on casting of Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel yet. The director and writer info will come first.

When asked about who will direct Civil War and talks of Spiderman Feige said he can't talk about anything until it's confirmed. The liveblog doesn't make it clear if that answer was about Spiderman...

Talk is cheap, real work is what matters. I have no doubts they were planning on telling the story of Captain Marvel, but because of numerous complaints they've decided to fasten it a bit.
