[editline]14th November 2014[/editline] Variety are saying about Daniel Bruhl:
Sources tell Variety that Bruhl, who co-starred in “Rush,” is not the main villain in “Captain America: Civil War” but could potentially be the top menace in Marvel’s “Doctor Strange.”
So you do think we will ever see MCU counterparts to Hiro and Baymax, or do you think they will avoid those characters completely due to the animated movie? Also, [sp]Stan Lee is in the post credits scene of Big Hero 6.[/sp]

Big Hero 6 was an actual Marvel comic book series, after all.
How does that foreshadow that?
In the first two Avengers movies they assemble and win in the end. But this time the circle is missing. And since it's split into two movies the chances are high that part 1 will have a downer ending.
So what do you think are the chances of Punisher showing up in the Daredevil TV series?
So what do you think are the chances of Punisher showing up in the Daredevil TV series?
Punisher would work PERFECTLY with a Netflix series or something on HBO. That's always been the coolest part of his character; while Iron Man and Captain America are fighting super spies and aliens across parallel dimensions, Frank is painting the walls of the local crackhouse with the blood of a couple dozen rapists. Like, yeah, seedy awful shit does happen in this universe, this is the guy who deals with it while everyone else fights Galactus.
no, cus those pussies are gonna censor everything with punisher
no, cus those pussies are gonna censor everything with punisher
they can get away with more on netflix
oh yeah, i forgot about that
They said somewhere that the Netflix series were gonna be darker than the usual MCU fare, right? I feel like I heard that somewhere.
Alright, so I want to get into the Marvel movies before I go and see Avengers too. The only recent Marvel movies I've seen are the first Iron Man and the first Captain America movies. Which movies are okay to skip and which ones are a must watch?
Just watch em all
Just watch em all
This. It makes the experience a LOT better.
This. It makes the experience a LOT better.
Alrighty, thanks. I just thought maybe I should ask since I've heard some are pretty mediocre and I really didn't think a whole lot about Iron Man when I saw it a while back.
TBH you could skip Iron Man 2, but Thor 2, Iron Man 3, and Captain America 2 all come after The Avengers.
Hulk and MAYBE Iron Man 2 are the only ones you can skip, and even then it's not advisable. Hulk establishes characters who are rumored to appear in later movies ([sp]word is that a flashback in Ant-Man shows Hank Pym dealing with a young hothead from the military named Thaddeus Ross[/sp]) and is a pretty fun monster flick in general. Iron Man 2 is neat in that it, Thor, and Hulk all pretty much happen concurrently. If you have a free day, look up the Assembled Cut. It's all of Phase 1 edited together chronologically. It'll get you up to date.
The only think about the Incredible Hulk that bothers me (other than the change from Edward Norton to Mark Ruffalo- which doesn't matter anymore since Ruffalo did great as it is) is the fact that The Incredible Hulk is within in the MCU but there's a couple things they have yet to follow up on: The scientist foreshadowed to become The Leader Emil Blonsky/Abomination is in SHIELD or the military's custody (under General Ross) And speaking of Ross, you can see in the first Avengers movie Ross is part of the SHIELD council We need another Hulk movie. Thunderbolt Ross has been so underutilized. I hope someday we will see a World War Hulk and Planet Hulk movie utilizing some of those things.
Nah, that was addressed in a SHIELD episode.
I don't have much opportunity to keep up to date with TV these days and therefore don't watch the show. Care to explain for me? I've always been curious about it.

Abomination was on ice in a secure Alaskan holding facility.

I really want them to recast Crossbones, just so Frank Grillo can be The Punisher. Watch The Purge: Anarchy and tell me he wouldn't be perfect as Frank Castle. Can't be done.

Punisher will probably pop up at some point.
