Live action though.

Hulk Vs. Wolverine, the animated movie, was pretty cool though.
Batman VS Spiderman would make the most money.

My money's on old Webhead. Spider-Man can go to town and open up a can of whoop ass if he really wants to. He's smart as shit too. The guy doesn't take shit from even a guy like Wolverine.

There was that one time Parker punched Logan out of the Stark tower. Lol, okay, I'm just fanwanking here but in a straight fight, Spider-Man would win easily. Give Prep time to both, it could go either way.

Yeah also Rusty, supposedly the X-Men films are going to take place in the same universe as the Fantastic Four films. So that's something.
That comic panel, pretty smart putting his fist on his head.
I wish the companies would just suck it up and have an entire multi-verse. The fan base would be so happy, and they'd make even more money.
It will inevitably happen one day. Companies do cross overs when they know they'll get a big pay check.
Or Disney will eventually (after Avengers 2 and Star Wars VII) have enough money to buy back certain rights without it putting a dent in the wallet.
As much as I love some of the Xmen characters, I still don't think the Xmen universe would fit in an Avengers universe.
In the Avengers universe there can't be more than 1000 Superheroes. They're each unique and have varying stories as to how they got their powers.
In the Xmen universe, there are hundreds of thousands, if not, millions of superheroes in the world. All of whom have powers because 'lol evolution'. It sort of takes away from the uniqueness and abilities of being a superhero. Like Syndrome from the Incredibles said. "When everybody's super. No one will be."
I still think the whole "Mutants are the worst thing ever" discrimination thing that's a huge focus of X-Men is dumb when you consider the rest of the Marvel universe is there too.
yeh i've never really believed the whole mutant discrimination/segregation thing going on. it just doesn't feel realistic, we are obsessed with powerful and unique people. yeah there'd be some right wing cunts who dont like them but they'd have a MASSIVE cult-like following from pretty much everyone else. 'this dude has claws what are his bones. that is fucking cool.' - the whole world. let alone their reaction when they see an inevitable news report on him saving strangers. like, seriously. it makes no sense, especially not in a marvel universe where superheroes literally exist.
Nearly every 'normal' human in the Marvel universe is a big moron. It gets worse when the people who hate mutants start spreading their hate with even more retarded ass reasons on great superheroes like Captain America.
I think that the mutant hate makes a lot more sense when Magneto starts doing big things and is labeled a terrorist, because he has that whole 'get-rid-of-non-mutants' thing going on, so it's understandable that normal people would fear them.
It makes more sense when that kinda stuff happens, yeah, and when anyone could be a mutant, and you dont know whether they're going to help you or fuck your day up.
I guess it's sort of like how people view religions. The bad stuff always gets reported in the news, whereas you never hear about it when religious groups give money to charity or do good things like that, despite the fact it definitely happens.
fuck I literally only just started getting in to these movies and I won't be able to see iron man 3 until september
piss
Its like everyone loves heroes until baddies who have powers show up and then the humans think "Oh that guy is bad and has powers! That means everyone with powers must be evil! Kill them all even if they save people, judge all of them by what this one person did!" That's what I hate about every superhero story.

To be fair thats probably what would happen in real life too.
what, not every superhero story is like that
in fact, almost none of them are save for the x-men, up until the point of the civil war
Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch?

If you replace every superhero term with "arabs" or "muslims" and then one person with "Osama", then you've got a pretty clear depiction of the US after 9/11.
Ultron has been cast - a rather interesting choice, James Spader.
I like James Spader, but as Ultron? I'd have to see it.
[editline]30th August 2013[/editline]
And it probably will be amusing to see James Spader and RDJ back together again.
Bradley Cooper is now officially Rocket Racoon. I mean yeah it was obviously coming after all those "in talks" stories but now it's definitely happening

I'll assume he did a great audition because I'd never have head hunted him.
Hope he has the Brit accent.

I thought it was australian?
I thought it was australian?
Seeing how they choose a very American actor I don't think that Marvel will go that way.
I think it was also because he's a big celebrity who really wanted to appear in the Marvel universe, but couldn't fit a big role because of scheduling issues. So they just gave him one of the voice parts instead.

No, Wolverine is Australian.

Because actors cant fake accents.
Because actors cant fake accents.
While a good British actor can succesfully hide his accent and fake American, I rarely see the opposite.
Because it rarely needs to be done the opposite.
Most jobs for actors happen in the US, which is why so many British actors end up in the US doing TV and film.
Being a British actor doesn't mean you're better at accents. It's just our actors have to do it a hell of lot more so you see it more.
Americans can still act. Peter Dinklage does a great British accent.
most british actors go for southern accents when playing american roles
