Once you take into consideration inflation (and for some places, the conversion rate). Yes it has.
Always bought my lego second hand from stalls. I never had anything cool but I got by.

they've been getting more expensive over time
but at the same time the quality of detail in the sets has tremendously skyrocketed
i remember when lego star wars sets still used the yellow skin, they didn't make the switch until episode 3.

I'm pretty sure the one we saw in the trailer is supposed to be the final form. The zombie one is the first, the one from the EW cover is the second.
That's unfortunate, the EW one is the perfect design.
Not really a fan of the expressive face. Hopefully Ultron has a "THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM" moment at the very end.

Let's not forget also the licensing costs, which explains why licensed sets (SW, DC, Marvel, etc.) are more expensive (mostly noticeable on big sets such as the D2C tumbler, Slave 1, etc.). I'm honestly happy that they include 20EUR sets, which sometimes are very well designed:

When Chris Pratt and I started working together on Guardians of the Galaxy, I gave him a mixed tape (okay, I admit, a mixed CD) of Awesome Mix Volume 1, that he could listen to endlessly, so he'd know it backwards and forwards, just as Quill knew the tape his mom gave him. Some of these songs were in the first cut of the movie - the mean blue guard danced through the prison listening to Magic on Quill's headphones, and Livin Thing featured in a montage in the Milano after the gang left the prison. We shot Quill singing "Never Been to Spain" at the Nova guards in an aggressive manner when he was having his mug shot taken, but the winding-up-the-finger gag worked better, so it never made the cut. The rest were never really in, but I thought this would give you a good idea of the complete Awesome Mix to which young Peter Quill might have lived his life.
Also, in all honesty, Moonage Daydream wasn't on the original tape - I added it in post-production - but I thought I'd leave it on the list to keep things simple.
As you can see, Ain't No Mountain High Enough and I Want You Back are not on this list as they were technically a part of Awesome Mix Volume 2. I didn't want Chris to be familiar with those songs.
