That's a bit different. Eccleston is kind of a different beast than Tennant.
Tennant seems like the kind of guy who'd be invited to play a live-action bear on an indie film and go 'awright' whilst Eccleston would be more restrained and selective with his roles.
Besides, Zebediah is not a minor character for Jessica Jones, and it's very possible he might appear on a second season of Daredevil.
