Eating little is always a not thing. Starving yourself is not how you lose weight. Eating right and practising healthy eating habbits and exercising is how.
Did you just contradict yourself?
I bet OP is one of those people that walks on treadmills and does 10 situps on exercise balls and calls that "working out"
haha working out my ass, unless you're running at a fast enough pase to hurt when you're done, unless you're swimming hard enough to be sore the next day, and unless you're doing pushups until you can't do pushups anymore, your weight is probably gonna stay the same
I would say weight loss is 90% exercise, 10% eating right
[editline]30th November 2010[/editline]
even though people tend to believe that "diets" are the way to go, they're really not, and in most cases they don't do shit and are unhealthy
the more i eat the less i way im like some kind of wizard
Obviously your massive metabolism is taking away from your grammar skills.
You may want to have this checked out.
Did you just contradict yourself?
Eating right and eating less are two really different things.
Calories in < Calories out and you will lose weight. Stop eating so much fatty.

No, not really. Eating right and exercise probably share 50/50 in being healthy. If all you eat is junk and you work out like a bitch, you're just going to be poorly nourished, not healthy.

Um, I believe you're being ignorant. Eating is a LOT of weight loss. Walking on treadmill is, in fact, exercise. You don't need to hurt when you're done, you just have to do enough to be sweaty and feel like it's hard. But eating right really is the way to go, or more preferably, a mix of both.
Eating little is always a not thing. Starving yourself is not how you lose weight. Eating right and practising healthy eating habbits and exercising is how.

Eat smaller meals more frequently, and start running/walking as your primary form of exercise.
Taking in generally the same amount of calories, but spreading it to smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day increases your body's metabolism.
depression and stress usually cause weight gain. Spend 50% of your workout time stretching, the other 50% pure cardio. And sleep AT LEAST 8 hours. Have 5 small meals, if you can.
Also, weight gain has a lot to due with testosterone. You can fix that by rubbing bengay on your balls after a workout or during the shower.
This guy knows his shit.
Calories in < Calories out and you will lose weight. Stop eating so much fatty.
You're the one eating Doritos.
stop eating kelloggs
Also OP: Stop expecting quick results. realistically on a phenomenal diet and exercise you will lose 2 lbs of fat a week. You can lose more weight than that per week, but you don't want to, as you will also be losing muscle and a lot of it would be water weight.
Look at serving sizes for the food you ate right now. measure that shit exactly.
Rice, White (968 calories)
Mini-Wheats Strawberry (340 calories)
Ham & Cheese (250 calories)
2 apples Apple (130 calories)
Go-Pak Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches (160 calories)
Banana (121 calories)
1900 calories?
Holy shit I didn't know Bananas has 121 calories...
Taking in generally the same amount of calories, but spreading it to smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day increases your body's metabolism.
Except you don't need to do shit to your metabolism, just work with it. That's why you find out how many calories you should be eating.

ha, you're one of those people
good luck slimming down by walking on a treadmill for 10 minutes, I guarantee you can eat as much shit food as you want, as long as you work it all off
the reason you lose weight is because you're using more energy then you are ingesting, and thus, your body is forced to burn fat to sustain your metabolism.
if you dont eat anything and you exercise minimally, sure you'll lose weight. if you maintain your regular diet but work out like most people who CARE to lose weight do (as i described) you will lose weight much faster
but people like you think losing weight is easy, hah

You have no idea what you're talking about. Eating is basically 100% of losing weight.
You shouldn't WANT to lose weight fast, it's a gradual process.

1848 calories?
When you found your calorie goal, was that to lose weight or to maintain your weight? if maintain, 1848 is higher than the one you posted, it will eventually make you fat.
also, that measurement was only for what you ate today. you may have been eating way more before.
Did you just contradict yourself?
No i fucked up typing.
Eat smaller meals and more smaller meals.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Eating is basically 100% of losing weight.
YOU have no idea what you're talking about. burning off the calories that you intake is 100% of losing weight
if you sit on your ass all day and do nothing but you "eat healthy" you will lose no weight I can pretty much guarantee you.
Slow metabolism. Like, REALLY slow metabolism.

Quit the carbs. I did, it was the easiest 20 pounds I lost.
Add excercise and healthy eating to that and BAM.
Too bad I gained back all my weight from thanksgiving :v:
I guess you are fucking fat because it feels good and you are using it as a substitute for women?

Lol, you realize your body burns calories even without strenuous exercise right? If your BMR is around 2000 calories like mine, I could eat 1800 calories a day and I would still lose weight without any exercise.
Exercise in itself hasn't got much to do with losing weight, although exercising does help and is good.
I'm more than willing to work out. Cause my biggest goal isn't just getting skinny, it's getting fit.
Because in the end the ultimate goal is girls.
Terrible motivation.
Looking at your disgusting fat ass in the mirror should be what motivates you to lift weights and eat right.

You seem under the impression that rigorous exercise is the only exercise. If you are inactive, eat very little. If you eat small portions of healthy food, your daily activity should balance out with it and you will lose weight. You are right on one bit though, if you're going to exercise, do it hard. If you want to lose weight and strengthen your muscles, you need to push yourself further each time then what you did the last. Cross the threshold or some shit according to health classes.

it helps a lot and it's great
the method of losing weight that you're mentioning is a great way to lose a little bit of weight over a long period of time
if you enjoy instant gratification like OP, you'll probably be a lot happier going the more difficult albiet more rewarding route and making an effort to actually lose some weight

Yes you lose weight from every muscle movement, just you breathing and your heart pumping is making you lose weight.
But what I don't understand is how that 2000 (300 more than I need) is making me fat.
