I haven't had real nightmares for years now. When I was young a had a small, white teddy that kinda was like a dream catcher. I lost the teddy, but I haven't seen a nightmare ever since.
In trance this is the real name for that event [editline]05:21PM[/editline]
Also, EDIT: whooho epic page king
lololololololololol great nightmare ooohhh don`t think why this girl is for an oral eeehhhh? it`s no to be very consolator and any pleasureable
Honestly OP, it just sounds like you've been watching too many films.
Thank God this has only happened to me twice. It feels really fucking vivid and you believe you're awake, then when you realise the house you're in isn't yours, you know you're still asleep. Then you wake up AGAIN but you're still asleep and for some reason your brain tricks you into thinking that the weird house you're in is really yours.
if you see gabe newell working out in a jym.. you are dreaming
If you can breathe, read or feel sharp pain, you're awake. Reason being: (Note, this is just what I've read about, I can't totally verify it, but oh well)

You're used to breathing normally in life, therefore in dreams you ignore the need to breathe and well, don't. So if you're breathing, you're usually awake.
Apparantly you can't read in dreams, and letters / words will just be jumbled up / nonsensical. If you can read, most likely you're awake.
Pain - Self explanatory
Again, I can't verify those are all legit, or they may change from person to person, but they are usually the three most common ways to check if you're asleep or awake.
One time I was Awake in the middle of the night, I began reading, but the words began to move, you're saying I was asleep. I'm sure I wasn't because I pinched myself and felt the pain
I had a dream last night where I woke up in my Apartment and I walked outside to grab a newspaper. It said on the cover that a kid i knew in my German class was caught with a plan to shoot up our school and had like 20 guns and grenades and crazy shit like that. I was like "What" and bought a copy to show my brother Then I woke up in the same apartment, thinking that it was all a dream. Then I wen down and found the same Newspaper "Wow, it wasn't a dream...?" It repeated like 4 times until I went down, and found that it wasn't the same article, and it never happened. I eventually realized that all of this is just an endless dream sequence, and that I had become lucid, so I could try and do whatever I want. But I just can't move, at all. It feels like I'm trapped in my bed, pitch black, hearing things in my room, but not seeing them, and knowing that I can't move at all. Scary as dick. Sleep deprivation + Lucid Dreaming + False Awakenings = Mindfuck [editline]10:46AM[/editline] And for god's sake don't look into the mirrors in a dream. [editline]10:46AM[/editline] Ever.

I write down my dreams every day after I wake up, some of them look REALLY funky afterwards Here's one from when I was nine I was on this couch laying down, when suddenly Freddy Kreuger came into the hall adjacent from me. I was trying to run away and stuff but I had that whole sleep paralysis jazz going on, so I couldn't do anything but very slowly move as though my joints were filled with glue while he barreled down the hall at me But then, all of a sudden his claw things turned into jars of grape jam (I shit you not) and he broke them on the floor by accident and ram away screaming and I woke up. See what I mean? [editline]05:49PM[/editline]
One time I was Awake in the middle of the night, I began reading, but the words began to move, you're saying I was asleep. It sounds really trippy, but the sleeping brain is really weird.
Also, EDIT: whooho epic page king
Fuuuuuck, media tag that shit.
Fuuuuuck, media tag that shit.
media tags aren't possible since a pretty long time ago and what's wrong with that picture
not a good idea for someone that's sensitive/has problems with nightmares
Try to open your eyes really hard like I do.
It's rare that i recall my dreams properly :(, let alone scoring a lucid one.
Fuuuuuck, media tag that shit.
Way to quote it.
STOP QUOTING THAT FUCKING PICTURE /cps
You are soon going to wake up, and be told that this is fake and your dream was real.
Have you ever tripped in a dream? You know, you're strolling along someplace, unaware that you're dreaming when suddenly you trip on a crack in the road or some bullshit and HOLY FUCKING SHIT you like do this twitching thing and spring up out of bed. I HATE that.
Just for comedic effect I will look at the picture. OOOhHHHH IT'S FUCKIN' SCARY ISN'T IT?! SCREAM! SCREAAAM BAAHAHAHA!
Just for the lol's. EDIT: AWW NAY ninja'd. Well page queen's good enough.
i dreamt about lying in bed all night. Needless to say, i was really confused when i woke up.
lol [editline]02:19PM[/editline]
I've heard that if you're stuck in a lucid dream the best way to get out of it is to kill yourself in the dream.
Don't get out of it. HAVE SEX IN IT!!!! XD
I once had a dream where I woke up, did all the things i normally do in the morning, then going to school and having a normal day. Then i get home again and does the stuff I normally do, and then i go to bed and wakes up, and finding out that it just was a dream. That was really a fucked up dream.
Really, what happens if you look in a mirror?
I almost never get nightmares. Lucky me I guess.
Really, what happens if you look in a mirror?
I think i already said it. DEMONIC SHIT
I NEED MORE DETAIL [sp]/caps[/sp]
Flop out your penis, if it is over 3 inches then you are dreaming
Get into the habit of looking into mirrors while awake, and make sure to do it while dreaming.
I did that once. And I couldn't see myself in it, but I could see others that weren't standing next to me. Freaked me the fuck out.
Does anyone actually know why mirrors fuck shit up in dreams? Or why light switches don't work?
You'll probably see ghosts, what witreus posted, a demon verison of yourself or someone who is dead or crippled.
