anyone who thinks this isnt a copy is a fucking dumbass... i mean, its rediculus how similar they are... the only thing that's different is the character models and backgrounds...
Those aren't the only differences, there's actually no class system in HAVE (or Toy Fortress 2), you can carry as many weapons as you want (generic in most deathmatch games), power-ups (also generic),and it seems that the character models only have a cosmetic purpose (and they're customizable too, somewhat).
Do they have monthly updates? No, stop whining.
Yes they do. The game is free but you pay for items and shit.
Yeah it's not a ripoff Guys, we already had this It's different game in terms of gameplay, but stop being "rebelious" and "against the flow" especially when that "horrible, unorginal flow" is right. One-eyed (well, you can't see his other one) grenade-launcher soldier Soldier with helmet that should fell of long time ago A LOT of Meet the based scenes - including scenes from Meet the scout (Really, if you didn't notice any, I bet you don't even know what "Meet the..." are), Meet the Demoman, and, if you are really looking hard at it - Meet the Sniper. Heavy Minigun - There is a lot of miniguns/gatling guns/I don't know weapons, but this one used in this game is HORRIBLY tf2ish. Little dumbshits, stop thinking that our only arguments are "Cartoonish graphics and classes, must be tf2 ripoff". You are only making yourself more dumb
The game is a lot different than that, but i agree that the trailer is a lot like the "Meet the..." videos. Also the 3 people in this thread blindly defending this game has anime avatars, coincidence?
It wont be TF2 until I start seeing hats.
That's not a fair comparison cause hats weren't in the game at first.
They may both be MMO's, but I don't think it's a ripoff.
TF2 isn't an MMO. Did you even see the fucking video? There are so many similarities. In gameplay, models, even characters.
That's a lot of clocks.
who cares? tf2 is a terrible game anyway.
who cares? tf2 is a terrible game anyway.
Oh ph0ne, you so silly
Oh ph0ne, you so silly
you think i was joking? i was being completely serious when i said that.
who cares? tf2 is a terrible game anyway.
I agree with this.
Weeaboo Fortress 2
Weeaboo Fortress 2
This. Fact: All Korean households contain a sea of anime dolls. I am not surprised.
This is really old
Those aren't the only differences, there's actually no class system in HAVE (or Toy Fortress 2), you can carry as many weapons as you want (generic in most deathmatch games), power-ups (also generic),and it seems that the character models only have a cosmetic purpose (and they're customizable too, somewhat).
so it's basically TF2 except everything that made the game balanced has been scrapped?
Guys, moot point... So many games rip other games off, and either improve on the concept, or tweak the concept to a new target audience, or fail. I think the makers of this game were right to heavily inspire themselves from TF2. TF2 is one of the best fun, class-based, multi-player shooters out there, but it doesn't appeal much to the asian market, where they like free-to-play, pay-to-upgrade games, with kawaii shoved in, and customisation to the max (yeah, you can customise TF2, but not as much as the average RPG, which is what the asian market likes). I reckon Valve should invite the creators of this game to their offices, sit down with a cup of coffee with them, and give them pointers on how to make their game great. After all, at the best they are making a fun-looking game, and at the worst, they are porting and tweaking TF2 for a new market. I don't think this will lose Valve a single sale, and it might just open TF2 to the eastern market a bit, check the amount of asian servers compared to Australia, Europe or the US. Now for obligatory discriminatory remark : They should make a hallal version of TF2 for the middle east, they have 8 servers by sourceOP.com and thet's it...
- It's a shield, TF2 doesn't have shields what the fuck - It's a fast class with a melee weapon, it's related to a sport called baseball where you use a bat and run fast. Name me one other sport where you use a blunt object to hit something and is required to run. - Try googling Quake before you spew idiocy. - It's because only fucking soldiers use RPG's, you don't see police shooting rockets do you. - All classes are Generic Class Shooter classes. What's wrong with you people. [editline]06:41AM[/editline] Hurfa durf Powerups.
What about the demoman and his pipe bombs?
Reminds me of Fur Fighters
It's a grenade launcher.
same old song and dance
How can you not see this copies alot? The animations, the scenes from the meet the trailers, even the music is similar. The soldier, the scout, the sniper, they all look similar in the way they move, run, hold their weapons. And not "similar like COD and BC2" but copied. I would find this more interesting if the majority of figures weren't female and anime related but other toys as well.
The music in the beginning you can CLEARLY hear the reference
Yeah the company even has an unoriginal name. "Triforce studios"
I couldn't watch anymore than 1:25 because I raged. You know, anime?
Obvious similarities with Tf2, it's not a complete copy but there do seems to be some similar things.
The video is indeed quite heavily similar to TF2, but the gameplay is more a rip-off of Battlefield Heroes last time I saw it.
You know this actually looks a little like Battlefield Heroes. I saw a gameplay video and one of the character animations seemed very close to the soldier class as well as several models and textures looking BFHeroish.
I was thinking "yeah, I'm not seeing many similarities here." Then the ubercharge'd heavy showed up.
Here's the trailer in HD so you can rage in 720p [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvaQbntJ4Yw[/hd]
