British accents sound awesome, no? Is it possible to form a British accent that I can switch on any time I wish? British accents sound awesome, and people with British accents, even if not British themselves, are listened to much more.
Just apply some British accent seeds and add water!
Practice
I'm an englis-wannabe too, it's pretty hard unless you talk to someone with one every day
Trade voice boxes with me. I hate my voice. I have a slight lisp just so you know. Whenever I join a server on Counter Strike they go "Oh hey its harry potter" and the other day someone said "Your a wizard harry." everytime I went to speak on Project Reality. Believe me it sucks.
Watch Guy Ritchie movies
I'm British, I can teach you. ...for a price.
Just watch Keeping Up Appearances and repeat everything they say. You will have a british accent in no time!
Wow, that's so sad. Although I will admit British accents sound awesome
Haha, wow. People like our accents? How nice. Well, I like American ones too :xd: I wish I could do a good one. (assuming that you come from the USA)
I sat down in a swimming pool with a bunch of Vegas whilst they asked me to say thing, then imitated them with excruciating poorness. So I'd say no, you can't.
Watch Mr. Bean and you'll learn to talk like him in no time.
I'd like a Italian or Russian accent. There awesome.
Watch British movies and practice a British accent and you'll grow an accent eventually.
Is it possible to grow a British accent that I can switch on any time I wish?
Since when did a British accent have the same qualities as beards and light bulbs?
There are many different accents throughout Britain. A 'British' accent is pretty non-specific
Getting the American accent for a non British is easier than getting a British accent.
Grow a British accent? Are you retarded or something?
Since when did a British accent have the same qualities as beards and light bulbs?
Because that's totally what he meant, right? :colbert:
Since when did a British accent have the same qualities as beards and light bulbs?
First, you can't switch beards on and off, lol. Second, there are people who can actually switch between multiple different accents any time they please, even mid-sentence.
Scottish accent is probably the best, IMO I wish I had a Scot accent... instead, I sound 98% american :smith:
There are many different accents throughout Britain. A 'British' accent is pretty non-specific
Generally when people say that they mean a Londoners accent. Pfft, who would want a Northerners accent :v: Don't hurt me.

I feel really smug after reading this because I'm British.
Pick one we have a lot of regional accents which also include slang and sentence malformation
Play Killing Floor, learn as you play.
One time some guy told me to go drink some tea. I was literally drinking tea as he said that.
I always laugh when people say "Go drink some tea" ect because I always have a drink on my desk; either Tea or Coke :v: The other one is "Go eat some scones!" but scones just suck to be honest.
