I'm English and I cannot fap to porn where the actors are English, the accent just puts me off. American porn is perfectly fine though.
Since when did a British accent have the same qualities as beards and light bulbs?
Since Brian Blessed. When he talks, the whole room lights right up ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgAthCrOHNU&feature=related
I love my british accent, but it's close to being full blown scouser.
There's loads of British accents, Scouser, Brummy, Posh, Chav the list goes on.
But a British accent for me is just talking :saddowns:
British accents sound awesome, no? Is it possible to form a British accent that I can switch on any time I wish? British accents sound awesome, and people with British accents, even if not British themselves, are listened to much more.
Well assuming all "British" accents are the same is going to start you off in the wrong direction. The UK is comprised of so many different types of people and each area has their own accent.
There is no "British" accent; you can say English, Scottish or Welsh accent, but not British.
My mom has a Hyundai Accent
Bitches gonna beg to suck your dick if you have a british accent.
I'm an englis-wannabe too, it's pretty hard unless you talk to someone with one every day
:D Get on vent more and i'll rub some of my Brummy-ness on you
What kind of british accent?
I have an English accent, American girls love it.
who would want a Northerners accent :v:
:smith:
Why no Dutch accent? :smith:
Second, there are people who can actually switch between multiple different accents any time they please, even mid-sentence.
I can do this, apparently it's hilarious. Also if you want an accent, get a scouser one so no-one can understand you.
There is no "British" accent; you can say English, Scottish or Welsh accent, but not British.
That's still extremely generalising - within England you can find a huge spectrum of accents - Liverpool, Manchester, a few Yorkshire variants and Geordie, and that's just the north. I'd imagine it's the same with Scotland and Wales.
My mom has a Hyundai Accent
VeLenje Oh yeah :smug: No just kidding, I don't have an accent.
Why would you want a croquet playing shirt lifter accent
i would love a cockney accent which is probably what you meant when you said british actually it really grinds my gears when people say 'british' when they mean 'english'
British accents are very varied, do you want Cockney? Liverpool? Top notch Eton talk?
Chicago accent is best accent.
Just don't adopt a Brummie (from Birmingham/West Midlands) accent, it was actually voted the worst English accent to have in a job interview because it makes you sound so dumb. Welsh accent sounds gay, Scottish makes you sound crazy and chav language is incomprehensible to anybody with more than two brain cells.

It's not that hard to form a british accent. Just don't make it super strong like most fucktards.
Drink tea erryday
Possible, just talk a lot of English people. People ask if I am from the UK when I speak in-game. :|

OP abandoned thread but asking for a British accent is like asking for an American accent. When people ask for an American, you must remember there is the "standard" accent which I have is from the northeast, California, Oregon and places like that which is so plain and boring, its just middle of the road. Then theres the New York accent, Boston accent, southern (why the hell would you want that), Texan, midwest and Hawaiian.
Are you American? Because if you are and you randomly whip out an English accent and start talking to your friends and peers you're going to be labeled as a creep ass and your life will be forfeit. However, if you want a British accent for comical purposes (some people find it funny) then just listen to British people talk normally and you will pick it up over time, eventually along with word usage and expressions. You will be really creepy though as everyone who knows you will know that you're not English and you're faking it.
Scottish accent is probably the best, IMO I wish I had a Scot accent... instead, I sound 98% american :smith:
Why, why thank you. :3:
