A friend of mine lived in the southern states of America for about 6 years when he was little (3-9ish) and still has a massive American accent despite living in Scotland for the past 10 years. He says Americans think he has a Scottish accent.
The best you can hope for it fooling your countrymen with a weird as hell accent.
