I would like a remakes of the Star Wars Prequels, Jurassic Park 4 ,and maybe some proper Starship Troopers sequels. Also a remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon, but done right of course.
You really should, it nailed the whole hardboiled-neonoir-meets-psychological-horror-meets-superheroes thing far better than the comics ever did. Highly recommended. Nah, that's stuff like the Schumacher Batman movies or the Super Mario adaptation, Spawn was just boring to me. The soundtrack is pretty solid though.
no way the schumalcher batman and mario were so bad they're bad. not even the same. so bad they're good is, like, i know what you did last summer, cruel intentions, and spawn. shit like that [editline]25th October 2012[/editline]
you now realize that trinity is the only person to wear leather in that movie, apart from morpheus' jacket.
he doesn't even wear leather in the first one either his jacket is just black fabric
what about street fighter w/ jean claude van damme thats my favorite so bad its good movie
I would love to see a proper Star Wars prequel trilogy.
The prequels never should've even happened. They should've just followed the events of the Thrawn trilogy.
you now realize that trinity is the only person to wear leather in that movie, apart from morpheus' jacket.
Yeah I know I was joking, but there is a lot of dated shit in it.

Yeah but that's a direct-to-DVD/Blu-Ray animated flick, I was thinking live-action with a theatrical release. Not that I'm complaining about the animated TDKR films, I'm more than happy that someone just finally decided to adapt the comics into film in some form. And considering how much of a hard-on Hollywood seems to have for shared universes in comic book movies these days, they should adapt Hellblazer, Swamp Thing, Animal Man and Shade The Changing Man into separate movies, then do a fifth one as a massive crossover between them. It'd make perfect sense considering how intertwined the characters are in the comics. Aquaman!!

I want a sequel to Master and Commander. I love that movie.
that'd be leather, sir.
fuck i read that shit as neo my bad
Coraline, the 2009 animated movie could have a prequel or some shit but I don't think any more books were written. Oh well, probably one of my favorite stop motion movies of all time.
The Room.
The prequels never should've even happened. Heir to the Empire was the first Star Wars book I read, hooked me into the universe as a kid. Would love to see some form of adaptation.
The squeal to Howl's moving castle, castle in the air, to be made by studio ghibli
A remake of The Adjustment Bureau. The movie had a very interesting premise but it was all wasted when they made it a crappy love story with a crap ending with a crap moral
A sequel to this, in which Stallone comes out of retirement to beat the shit out of the new generation of criminals, and he still follows nobody's rules.
King Kong vs Godzilla. Hell, ANY classic monster-mash, that's a genre that SORELY needs to come back. Remember Freddy VS Jason? Yeah, it was kinda corny at times, but it was fucking COOL. Hell the original ending played out more or less like this: As they're fighting, the water of Crystal Lake turns blood-red and starts churning. A huge watery hand rises from the lake, grabbing Freddy and Jason and dragging them down into the abyss. The two are sucked down into Hell (which, instead of being all fire and brimstone, is actually icy cold and desolate, which I think is a really cool take on it). They get up and rush at eachother, eager to continue the fight. Before they reach eachother, chains fly out of the darkness and hook into their skin, dragging the two apart. As they struggle, [sp]Pinhead[/sp] steps out of the darkness and says, "Gentlemen... what seems to be the problem?" Cut to black. Fucking awesome (but they couldn't get the rights and didn't want to have to balance the mythos and canon of 3 franchises). They even had comic book spin-offs, Freddy VS Jason VS Ash. Ash, as in Ashley Williams, as in Bruce Campbell. Ash gets transferred to the new Crystal Lake S-Mart and Freddy is attempting to use the power of the Necronomicon to become-all powerful. Why don't we see awesome shit like this anymore? Movies that bring iconic characters together for a hugeass adventure? The closest thing we've had to a "Monster Mash" was the Avengers. $1,511,757,910 worldwide. There's so many defunct franchises just stagnating that would be perfect for this sort of thing. Why not make Chucky VS Leprechaun? Afraid of "tainting" those franchises? If it's shit, it's just another turd on the pile, no one will care. If it's not shit, then everyone wins. Personally, I still think Freddy VS Jason VS Ash is an awesome idea, though maybe take a different route than the comics.
The prequels never should've even happened. More of an unlikely alliance between a jedi and a fighter pilot during the clone wars, and they become good buddies. A new set of prequels that don't take into consideration any of the stuff established in the actual ones. And Anakin should be a badass. Hayden Christensen just doesn't feel like the guy who would be inside darth vaders suit at all. I've said this before, but they should have made Anakin akin to a young man Vito Corleone from The Godfather II, like a tough guy type who isn't necessarily evil but is pushed to that by the circumstances. He could have loved ones die as a consequence of the clone wars or something. Instead we had all this prophecy crap and palpatine creating anakin and shit like that. God I hate the prequels.
I would love to see a remake of I Am Legend with the proper story as in the book i liked I Am Legend with will smith and all, it had a nice setting. but the end was so pointless
A sequel to the Big Lebowski with The Dude and Walter as old guys in their 60s.

My fear is that all the "CARS AND CARS 2 SUCKED, PIXAR IS FINISHED FOR GOOD" crowd will end up swaying the studios who will pressure a sequel to get made before it's truly ready.

I want to see I Am Legend adapted faithfully.
"PIXAR IS FINISHED FOR GOOD"
Haha, no. Seriously, that crowd should shut the fuck up. Pixar is still awesome.

Eugh.
As much as part of me would like to see a full reboot of the Star Wars franchise, I just can't see how that could end in a good way. The Original Trilogy still stands up well, all things considered. (Now if we could only get a proper HD transfer and clean-up without the needless edits...) And while there's a lot that could be improved about the Prequel Trilogy, I don't see the point in remaking it. The best thing i can think for Star Wars is to take a decade-long hiatus. Bring some fresh blood and fresh ideas into franchise, and start a new film series set no less than 1000 years after the events of the original trilogy. Why 1000 years into the future? Because it would dodge several problems in a natural way: It stays clear of the old issue of prequels looking more advance than the original movies. Technological progress would be expected if anything, allowing any possible story opportunities that might open. It would not have to write around the Expanded Universe; A bloated, convoluted trainwreck of wildly varying quality whose works are clumsily shoved into a single canon. Granted, old man Lucas freely ignored the EU whenever he wanted, but staying clear of it can only be a good thing for this theoretical film series. Less for the fans to sperg about this way. Most importantly, it does not have to pay heed to the characters and plots of either trilogy. There's almost no chance of contradicting the movies or the characters setting new films this far into the future. There's no continuity baggage to weight it down and limit storytelling. It's the untamed frontier of the entire franchise and probably the best chance it has for a revival.
wait, there were people who didn't like brave?
