Beers all right, but Id prefer spirits over beer any day
The dark side of drinking is obvious. Too much and you'll feel horrible in the morning. Way to much and you might end up embarrassing yourself.
Embarrassing yourself is sometimes the best part, especially around good friends
I miss the days of being 15 years and immune to hangovers. They just don't happen to people below the age of 16-17. Good times.
Im 18 and I still don't get them :v:
i am a terrible drunk at one point in my life i have urinated on a cat oh and there's no such thing as 'drinking in moderation'
I was goose stepping and Nazi saluting when there were some cops behind me. Wasn't even that drunk luckily so I managed to get off with nothing but a warning. Was funny because they thought I was drunk and disorderly while I'd only had a few and my friends a few metres away were having trouble standing up.
Coronas are top shit here, fancy imported beer that is still nice and not for poofs. Wedge of lemon or lime in it and you got something that any amateur could drink happily. To those saying they don't like beer, try lots of different types. This will do two things, get you tasting beer more and getting used to the taste more than if you just had it occasionally, and it'll let you see that not all beers are the same. We have some really shit cheap beers here, Carlton Draught and Victoria Bitter, but they taste like a horse's ass. There are better ones and they aren't all the same.
Corona is a blight on the Australian drinking community, i'd rather drink XXXX gold.
Most of my friends are pussies. They drink light beers and shitty surgery mixed drinks with like half shots in them wile I take shots from my personal bottle of vodka. Except like 2 of my friends we went bar hopping last weekend and the only mixed drink was rum and coke. Jack Daniels ftw. These 2 friends are in the army here in Canada so basically they go to the bar when they're on base and have leave so it's not to surprising.
Corona is a blight on the Australian drinking community, i'd rather drink XXXX gold.
XXXX? Are you serious? Not that I drink Coronas either though that's fair enough.
XXXX is shit, I was just making a comparison
Oh boo hoo, some people drink a beer that doesn't taste like shit. Better call them wimps for having taste buds. It's like wine connoisseurs in reverse. The good shit is shunned while the cheapo stuff that only dole bludgers drink is seen as godly. It's not even as wimpy as whiskey and coke which is somehow accepted more than other premixes.
Who really gives a shit what people drink, whatever floats their boat and all.
Embarrassing yourself is sometimes the best part, especially around good friends
Depends how much you embarrass yourself. :v:
Wow a shot an hour? if i buy a bottle of vodka for a party it will tend to go in like 5 mins from everyone shotting it ! i usually buy 20 bottles for a party and end up on my ass by about 2 in the morning girls are different than boys they take vodka well good ! but they cant handle beer (my experience of seeing girls on different drinks) [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] also if i smoke pot whilst drunk i fall asleep within a hour even if its just one or two drags
Hah, get a load of this guy. 20 bottles of Vodka (in Finland), would cost nearly 250-280 euros. Something I'd never spend for someone elses party.
lmao 20 bottles mommy and daddy must be paying for school
doublepost heh
The best part about parties with alcohol is being sober while everybody else is shitface drunk. I am 13 and although I get invited to quite a few parties I steer clear of alcohol, smoking the such (I don't want to take up smoking, ever). Like in the last one where I just sat there eating a bag of cookies while all the other ones (mostly 14-16 year olds) were slobbering around doing crazy shit. Some girl even tried to hit on me but she was like 16 and fat so I just moved away.
myth busted
Grass before beer and your in the clear, beer before grass and your on your ass.
i just paid £9 for a G&T and a pint of Rekorderlig and then £4.20 for a bottle of red stripe fuck london
I'm going to Uni this Thursday, moving in Sunday. Looking forward to Freshers Fortnight a lot. It's so much easier to make friends when drunk, you find you agree with oneanother on everything.
Anyone else reading this while drunk?
I detest drinking laws and alcohol 'education' in America. So backwards.

You have the power yourself to make friends that easily, but you're too nervous. Alcohol relaxes you. Its actually how I found a really beneficial study partner for my engineering classes lol
lmao 20 bottles mommy and daddy must be paying for school
lol, Smirnoff Ice is not a bottle of Vodka.
Let me tell you all the next best easily consumable drink after beer (I like it more than beer, personally): it's the Spritzer, or as us Hungarians like to call it, fröccs. It is essentially just wine (of average quality, putting good wine in a fröccs isa waste) loosened up with some soda (as in, soda water. Not cola or some shit). It's just that. And it's tasty, it can vary depending on what wine you make it out of and how much wine and how much soda you put into it. The wine used is usually white or rosé. The most common/my favourite combos are: Small spritzer: 1 dl wine, 1 dl soda Big spritzer: 2 dl wine, 1 dl soda Long step: 1 dl wine, 2 dl soda Housekeeper: 3 dl wine, 2 dl soda Vice-Housekeeper: 2 dl wine, 3 dl soda There are tons more combos. Just look up fröccs or spritzer in google, it's an ideal drink for partying, or just having a good time, or for just refreshment.
You know there's something going on in a thread, when you have to start rating people funny instead of dumb because of their utter lack of brains.

Drinking obviously grows on you over the years, and it's something I love to as often as I can, but I honestly never understood how people could get drunk and sit in front of their computer. Whenever I join a game(League of Legends for example) and I see someone typing hes drunk and excuse for hisbad skills etc etc, I start wondering how you can get that low. I understand people who enjoy a few beers over the evening, but straight out getting drunk and playing video games seems like the biggest loser thing to do.
