Friend of mine does that because the games become hilarious. Also, drinking games. [editline]20th September 2011[/editline] And they mightn't be alone, either.
Getting drunk elsewhere, with other people, then coming home to play Games I can understand. TF2 at 4:30 in the morning. I think I did quite well.
Drinking obviously grows on you over the years, and it's something I love to as often as I can, but I honestly never understood how people could get drunk and sit in front of their computer. Whenever I join a game(League of Legends for example) and I see someone typing hes drunk and excuse for hisbad skills etc etc, I start wondering how you can get that low. I understand people who enjoy a few beers over the evening, but straight out getting drunk and playing video games seems like the biggest loser thing to do.
Playing games with friends while drunk is awesome.
but i think he means setting out your plan for the evening to be "sitting in front of my computer, on my own, getting progressively more drunk" drinking socially then coming home and playing games is great fun, but it's a bit sad if you're drinking alone for no other reason to get drunk
can I be cool like OP now?

A guide for drinking? really? This is something the youth should find out themselves.
This guy is thinking way too much... Go out, get wrecked... be happy!
I drink and I usually feed the girls drinks in clubs for a one nighter off of a good pounding. Of course they dont remember me much since I leave at 3 in the morning from their houses
I'm sure this has been mentioned but Alchohol dehydrates you, which is why you get hangovers if you don't drink plenty of water while binging If you find yourself in the state of being hungover, drink lots of water to re-hydrate you. Also drinking parties are lame. I personally avoid parties that revolve around drinking as the means of entertainment as it is just a really shallow and easy way to entertain. The best parties are when everyone is doing something and there's a point to it, wiether it be playing a game (video or boardgame), movies, going out somewhere, themed, etc. And then maybe some alchohol on the side. Also alchohol won't kill you guys. I've drank plenty before (but I've never let myself be drunk for whatever reason, I like my beauty sleep!).
I dunno, I love being sick purely because I feel totally refreshed afterwards, and ready to go again

Especially when there's multiple games going. Beer pong over here, kings cup over there, thumper in the kitchen, etc. They're the ultimate social experience, you walk out knowing way more people than when you came in.
beer pong's a lot more fun than it sounds
The best part about parties with alcohol is being sober while everybody else is shitface drunk. I am 13 and although I get invited to quite a few parties I steer clear of alcohol, smoking the such (I don't want to take up smoking, ever). Like in the last one where I just sat there eating a bag of cookies while all the other ones (mostly 14-16 year olds) were slobbering around doing crazy shit. Some girl even tried to hit on me but she was like 16 and fat so I just moved away.
I strongly disagree, but seeing as you're 13 you should probably stick to that strategy for at least two more years
beer pong's a lot more fun than it sounds
Thumper is fucking hilarious, but I get bombed playing because I'm terribad at it.
Due to a terrible choice of driving a bike after drinking I have to pay a 60 USD fee to the police. So I guess for 2 weeks I'm off from drinking, going to attend parties sober style. However some friends might bring home-brew vodka, and that shit is.. well.. A BOMB.

I've only ever played Beer Pong and Ring of Fire. Though, the name Kings Cup sounds similar to what Ring of Fire is about. Care to explain?
It's easy as hell. 1. hear about a party 2. know somebody who is going to said party 3. have them get you in 4. walk in, everyone stares

Kings Cup and Thumper? I've only ever played Beer Pong and Ring of Fire. Though, the name Kings Cup sounds similar to what Ring of Fire is about. Care to explain?
Kings cup is very similar to ring of fire and/or waterfall. They're all games where each card is a rule and you do whatever when you draw one blah blah blah, just a few things are changed here and there. Thumper is amazing and all people should at least try to play it once. Thumper will cause a lot of noise complaints though since a lot of screaming and laughing always ensues.

And Kings Cup is exactly like Ring of Fire from what I can tell, but there're so many different rulesets for that game.

Everyone makes up their own unique signal. After the whole beginning chant and everything, you do your signal and then the signal of another person. They do their signal, then someone else's, and so on. What makes it so funny is that everything is done in complete silence, so you have a group of people just doing stupid hand signals at each other until someone fucks up. There's all kinds of tricks you can do, like doing someone's signal while looking at a completely different person, which throws everyone off. Then people start forgetting them as they get drunk and it just gets hilarious.
I usually drink either Stella Artois or Budweiser when I go out, but if I've got a bit extra to spend I go for Newcastle Brown Ale. Also, what the fuck was OP talking about when he said not to fall asleep with your shoes on?
Vomiting after 10 shots? Pfft, back to your fuckin' Vodka Cruisers, sweetheart.

Brought a bottle of Russian Standard to a party Don't remember much apart from throwing up an absolute fuckton. Lesson learned.
I don't drink, at all, and all my friends only drink minor amounts. However, at parties there's almost always that one shithead who is completely wasted. If anyone offers me alcohol I just decline and still manage to enjoy myself :V

In some areas, people consider this a green light for drawing on you with sharpies, shaving your eyebrows and all other sorts of things. If you take you shoes off then fall asleep, it shoes you were trying to get some rest and it would be in poor taste to take advantage of you for it. A silly rule yes, but one nonetheless
If you think it burns to inhale after doing a vodka shot. try doing inner circle black or bacardi 151 shots. Your throat may as well be on fire because it sure as hell feels like it. Also take care when doing flaming shots, do it in the dark so you can see the flame. and don't let girls do flaming shots, they usually chicken out or knock it over which leads to flaming tables/floors
