I think Eli has realized that Jace really has no idea what the fuck and is willing to get him killed. Two weeks ago being kicked out of Deagle Nation might've been a gigantic horseshit on Eli, but now it's the best thing for him because it's cutting him off from the idiot that put his life in danger in the first place.
