Notice how his voice has changed in that last call. His diction is off and he's surprisingly calm considering he's Jace. It's a bit unsettling to be honest. Not to say that Jace's behavior isn't unsettling in the first place, but if he was operating like business as usual, this is something far more... I don't know. Dangerous possibly?

I've seen a few videos with you and Jace in them, although I've never finished any of the longer ones. Have you ever gotten anywhere with him? I do believe you must have more patience than I do to continually interact with him if it just goes nowhere, as it seems to me. What have you learned by/from interacting with him?

I've learned that people like him disgust me, and I feel good that I know that because it reaffirms who I am.
I've learned how to speak more confidently.

That last one is indeed the most disturbing part, but I'd like to clarify; do you mean that in a general sense, or in a more focused sense? What I mean by focused is whether that refers to additional people that Jace exposes himself and is exposed to. I think it's easy for us to think that folks like Jace are relatively isolated from other people with similar mental-emotional conditions, but I'm wondering if your final point is challenging that assumption. From what little of Jace's mom we see in his videos, she seems to have her own tenuous connection between her reality and the reality at large, as evidenced by her religious and political viewpoints, but Jace seems to be experiencing that dissonance of reality on a far greater magnitude than she.
When has your patience paid off with Jace? I'm not asking as a challenge, but I'm wondering when it's occurred so that I can see it for myself. I suppose I haven't had the patience to remain an audience to one of those conversations in order to witness your patience pay off, something that I'd like to witness.
I understand what you mean about this being bad for you. While some people here might want you to go into more detail there, it's not necessary for me. Any psychologist will tell one that close proximity to the mentally ill has a detrimental effect on one's own sanity. It's a demonstrable fact and has been studied. I've had my own personal experience with a similar situation and it's weighed heavily on me. This sort of exposure is damaging, but (and this is a consolation for me) there is often an incredible amount of growth to be gotten alongside what scars one may acquire. Take what value from that sentiment that you will. You have my respect sir.
