So the deal is win his trust, convince him to get Eli out of it. Maybe we could tell him he isn't prepared or trained enough for the mission or something.
I dont think it is possible at this point. Its fairly clear from his behavior that Jace will not help Eli leave. When under consternation, Jace doesn't actually pay attention to extremities, which also is bad because he wont respond in the way we intend if we try to either dupe him or threaten him. Its too bad that he has already seen the light of Islam, but it may be possible to convince him that Tyce has taken the oath of islamic faith. It would explain his revolution of Deagle Nation and his suggestion to Jace that Tupac was in palestine in the first place. We could feed him a story that Tyce is in deep cover, and seeing that his decimation of Deagle Nation wasn't accomplished during the length of Jace's jesus camp, he is trying again by dividing and conquering, as evident by Eli being stranded in Israel and Jace being ostracized and having his forums taken over. Gaining his trust is far to hit and miss to successfully retireve eli.
The main variable we cant control is whether he will either cut his losses or actually try to retrieve Eli. I wish he was predictable as Christopher Chandler but he isnt.

I honestly care about the poor guy. He's an idiot, but he's not a psychopath like Jace. He doesn't know any better, he's like a kid on a 'grand adventure'. He's oblivious what war really looks and feels like, or the consequences of dying. It's really saddening that he's heading to certain death, just because he wants an Xbox One.

It says right there that they've shut down American Citizen services. I assume that's an umbrella term that would cover the sort of services they'd give to Eli if he came to them. So while they might not be shut down entirely, so it's not entirely wrong to say that the embassy is shut down like FlyAwayNow is.

The problem lies in the issue you chose to bring up, and your manner of delivery on the topic. Stop talking like a stereotypical 1940s gangster, and then tie your poorly chosen issue with the government into something that actually interests Jace. Pot holes are far too commonplace for Jace to care, but you might salvage his interest if you frame it in a way that says your anger at pot holes stems from your insatiable need to street race, BECAUSE IT'S WHO YOU ARE and the government can't change it. The pot holes are probably an Al Gamerfood plot to take away your rights to smoke weed and street race. They're infiltrating your local government in order to take down the NPP.
In short, take a few hours to really consider who your audience is. It's the smallest audience possible, which means you need to tailor your story and presentation precisely and specifically. Spend less time trying to be funny, right now you should concentrate effort on gaining Jace's trust and respect. Once you do that you can become more ridiculous if you're careful. Yeah, but what was the creator of that video trying to accomplish with it? Samuel Taylor Coleridge wrote at length about this, even coining the technical term, "Suspension of disbelief." This is a core technical aspect to creating believable fictions, and while I'm not an expert in these matters, this is the sort of thing I study. It's what I want to do with my life.
