It was a ticking timebomb. Only a matter of time until he read one of those dad comments.
If the person who told Jace to Robin Williams himself as he shut the stream down is a Facepuncher, can you please never go near Jace again? Seriously not cool.
The Sims seems to trigger traumatic re-enactments of Jace's childhood, and he doesn't like the simulation acting on its own and deciding things like John Cena won't be able to socialize until tomorrow, 17 hours from now (when he was trying to set up the death of his biological dad).
I think the simulation acting on its own has quite a bit to do with it. He tries to use Sims to fictionalize his childhood and act out a more pleasant fantasy one (much like his Stryker fantasies often replace present reality), but as with real life, the simulation won't always give him everything he wants. He can't deal with his reality, so he turns to his fantasies, and then when he somehow loses control of the fantasy he just breaks down.
Or as it went the last time this happened: his surrogate father figure refusing to kill his actual father.
I never actually was able to find the timestamp that happened at. You wouldn't happen to have when that occurred, would you?
I never actually was able to find the timestamp that happened at. I'm checking it over now, gimme a sec. [editline]science[/editline] Well he starts setting it up around 4:16:30 after realizing it's his sim's birthday, the assassination attempts begin at about 4:19:20, it goes off a cliff real quick after that.

Roughly 4 hours, 18 minutes is when it starts. If you're not used to seeing grown men melt down on camera, it's a little uncomfortable and disturbing.

holy shit that ending
to be perfectly honest, i'm legit sad for this dude if he would just stop this then he could get help but no he doesnt imo as terrible as some of this shit is, the more he does it the higher the chance someone big sees it and it goes viral and then its just going to get out of control, but tbh thats probably the only reason he would ever stop
To be fair, it sounds like his mother sheltered him too much to where he could not fend for himself.
It's a very strange emergent property of lolcows and their trolldoms. Most trolls understand that there's a line of human decency that should not ever be deliberately crossed by trolls against someone like Jace or Chris-chan. As the community forms around the pathetic disgrace and his antics, a really bizarre friendship begins to form and genuine concern occurs when things go to far. Witness the community rallying around Chris-chan when his house burnt down, raising over a thousand dollars in donations to make sure he and his mom had their basic needs met. They still continued to mock his ridiculous actions (like spending a lot of money on Lego in the weeks and months after the fire), but they also kept an eye on him from a distance. The trolls don't want Chris-chan to be homeless or suffer major shit, but they'll still document his stupidity for the amusement of the group. If Jace could just have an epiphany and realize that he can't just hide in his fantasy and continue to reject reality, he would find himself with a circle of "friends" who would be there to help guide him in the right direction to start to build an actual life for himself. They'd still razz him and basically act like Facepunchers do daily, but there's a community there that, whether he knows or accepts it, probably cares for him more than some people in his real life.

The concerned observers advised Jace in their wisdom that to avoid infection and possible need for amputation, the wound needed to be "cleaned", suggesting the application of bleach or some other potentially toxic chemical

He was "clean" for an unknown stretch of time before Internet harassment and butthurt drove him to take up substance abuse again.

regardless. Some time during the stream, Ivan Komarov sent messages to Mr. Connors saying the pizza had been laced with ricin. The perpetrator of the pizza incident was claimed to be a "troll" by the name of Deagledad420, a potential member of the terrorist group Al-Gamerfood.
The moment he breaks down is when someone in the chat compared him to his father. He then starts crying and tries to smoke weed in order to calm himself, but he just ends up puking. Holy shit he needs help bad.

Followed this thread but never watched one of the streams, decided this one would be the first. Him trying to kill his dad ingame while crying, drinking and puking. Very, very disturbing I was laughing at him before I watched that stream, now I just feel really sorry for him
What ever did happen to his dad anyway? Does anyone know?
He left, we dont know anything solid.

What's happened over the past few days? Everyone started talking about Gmod and I got bored
What's happened over the past few days? Everyone started talking about Gmod and I got bored
Jace did another livestream. Apparently wolves did 9/11. Jace is also fully aware of FP's activities because some people just couldn't resist giving away they were from FP.
What's happened over the past few days? Everyone started talking about Gmod and I got bored
Basically nothing until yesterday when Jace started streaming. He played two boring games about wolves (I'm going to be honest I nearly fell asleep when he played them) and some ween from here sent him a message on one of the wolf games saying he was a faggot and had Facepunch in his name and Jace basically blew him the fuck out. The Jace started playing Insurgency and got pissed off because he kept killing himself with grenades. I think he played another game after this but I can't remember. And also during on of those games his Mom came in his room because she wanted her M&M cookies back. So then we get into FactZone and Jace is talking about ISIS and shit and about how Osama = Obama (Not joking) and took some calls. The he talked about the "Homosexual agenda" and FlyAwayNow called in and used logic on Jace and Jace got pissed off because everything he (FlyAwayNow) was saying was true and Jace ended up hanging up on him because he was pissed off. Then someone else called in and asked Jace to tell us about how when "he got fucked in the ass during bible camp" that pissed Jace off a lot. Then someone else called in and used logic on Jace again and once again Jace got pissed and hung up on him. And some brave soul from here sent Jace that John Cena video of him stating that his oldest brother is gay and how he's glad Darren Young came out as gay. Then Jace starts talking about the illuminati and shit (I didn't really pay attention to this part) Then Jace goes back into gaming and puts up a poll and includes GMod but he says that even if it wins the poll he's not going to play it because "Facepunch is autistic" so he played second place which was....The Sims 3. So then he continues playing as Jack Stryker where after he got done killing his wife and stabbing John Cena in the dick for laughing at him/taking his wife and child. He goes to live on a house boat with Soap the Wolf (who hates him) and his son Benito(named by chat after Benito Mussolini) and Jace makes Stryker an elder and makes his son grow up (literally) and then it turns out the Sims gods love fucking with him and give his son the traits of "Couch potato" "Evil" "Crazy" "Lazy" "Slob" and something else I can't remember. And then Jace gets pissed off because his son is talking to himself and as Jace puts it "I DON'T WANT A FUCKING SPED CHILD" and chat starts saying stuff about his dad saying shit like "I bet this is how your dad felt before he left" and he got pissed at that and then he decides to adopt another child and asks chat to name the child and chat says stuff like Tyrone, LaShandra, LaQuisha, and shit like that. And then yells "NO I'M NOT NAMING HER BLACK NAMES THE KID ISN'T GOING TO BE BLACK!" and then the kid arrives to the boat and......she's black. Jace then gets pissed off and then someone crashes a car into his house boat and it gets stuck there for a while and Jace locks Benito in the hold of the ship and kills a paparazzi that got on the ship and the girl gets pissed off at him for doing this and then he gets pissed off because she's pissed off. And then Jace's Mom comes in telling him it's bed time and he goes to ask her for more time on the computer and somehow Benito escapes from the hold and this pisses Jace off because he's afraid of him "I DON'T WANT HIM HERE HE'S LIKE SCHIZO HE MIGHT TRY TO LIKE KILL ME AND STUFF" and then chat says more stuff about his dad and Jace gets mad and starts crying and turns off the sims and right before he ends the stream he lights up a joint and smokes it and then abruptly pukes and then ends the stream.
And some brave soul from here sent Jace that John Cena video of him stating that his oldest brother is gay and how he's glad Darren Young came out as gay.
The twitter account got deleted, so I don't think he saw the video.
-shit trolls did to Jace-
I said most. Chris-chan's trolldom wasn't always his weird and mildly sociopathic support group. The bleach incident is wtf, and well, trolling is what trolls do to lolcows. Unless someone specifically told Jace to go back to substance abuse, it's his poor reaction to trolling that had him fall off the wagon. He could stop this anytime by just sinking off the net or at least not broadcasting and inviting the internet public (read: trolls) into his life. But he doesn't know how to become better, and nobody in his life REALLY seems to care enough to do something effective about it.
Dude, you're just victim blaming. How many of us could deal with the level of harassment Jace goes through? It's quite clear here that most people just view him as a source of humour. The way people hunt him out is just strange - someone get should him a role in a film, maybe then the behaviour of these people will be recognised for what it is - stalking.

Jace could escape all this, but he'd have to abandon the Internet for a while and come up with being a different person when he re-emerged. It's not something he's really capable of at this point, and I'm not blaming him for not doing it. My point was, some trolls are amoral assholes that torment Jace deliberately, like the bleach incident, but they're not all terrible, going back to my original "trolls and lolcows have a weird combatative friendship" post. I didn't intend to throw the blame for substance abuse squarely on Jace; rather, I meant that it was his response to the shit he gets as opposed to a direct intention of the trolls. For example, the trolls picked Sims 3, knowing Jace cannot handle the simulation being uncooperative with his fantasies, and then they started talking about his dad when he was already frustrated about his Sims family. Nobody directly told Jace to drink and smoke heavily, it's his reaction to the ton of shit thrown at him. I'd like to see Jace go clean and start to actually put his life into shape, but he's got to decide to do it himself. And I'm not shifting the blame onto him, it's literally true, unless you want to Section people (or the equivalent in the US). Personally, I think that might actually be helpful for Jace, because it'd get him away from his mother and the Internet, but it'd be traumatic for him as well.

Imagine going up to someone you know in real life who had an abusive father and saying some of the things that have been said to Jace - but online, somehow this is not only OK, but cool. You can say "If Jace hadn't done this, if Jace hadn't done that" until you're blue in the face - but the fact of the matter is, Jace's actions are in no way an excuse for the "trolls" - let's call them what they are: stalkers - to do what they do, and is no more acceptable an argument than "what was she doing dressed like that in the bad part of town?"

Anywhere. I'm not excusing their behaviour. But it's still happening and it's a natural tendency of the Internet.
You said that these people care about Jace's wellbeing. I pointed out that they have done much, much more harm than good, and their actions are potentially criminal, to which you responded by saying "Well Jace should get off the internet and seek help". This is excusing their behaviour.
I said Jace could get off the Internet and escape the trolls. But he'd also be losing all contact with people that aren't trolls, as well. I acknowledged that that's a significant step to take, and it's one Jace is ill-equipped to deal with because he's such a mess. I don't know what else to say to convince you that I'm not an asshole troll-supporter. There are also always going to be weens that cross the line, like the guy who told Jace to kill himself at the end of last night's stream. Fuck that guy, whoever he is.
