Jace's abusing his medication again... Wait! A thought just came to me. I am beginning to wonder if Jace has type 1 or type 2 Bipolar disorder. It would fit with his behaviour, like the heavy and regular drug use, as well as his general behaviour. I mean, it definitely doesn't explain everything he does; I'm not trying to say that's the only thing going on, but it seems like a plausible thing.
The way he obsesses over a few things like parkour, John Cena, and the military seems like he has a form of autism with some narcissism thrown in. A lot of it is probably made worse because of the environment he grew up and is living in. I'm not talking about FP's spreglord autism stereotype, either.
His bizarre mannerisms and questionable perception of reality remind me of the Cluster A personality disorders. Although given that he acts more like someone in their early teenage years than a grown adult, developmental disorders are also quite likely.
I think he probably has a long list of psychological orders all stemming from and adding to each other, the drug/ alcohol abuse doesn't really help. At one point i could have suspected multiple personality disorder but to be honest there is no stable pattern in his behavior so i don't think that's too plausible but i think we could all agree Schizophrenia is highly likely and Autism isn't completely unthinkable. Then i realised i basically said the same thing as asteroid...

Even though I don't agree with most of his ideology, I can't deny that he doesn't put a lot of effort into his content, which he doesn't profit from.

Either that or he started taking meds which calm him down. Jace seems to be a good guy at heart but overreacts a lot. All he has to do now is to somehow rescue Eli from ISIS and then he'd be ready for a fresh start.
