As sad as it is, I don't think Jace is ever going to be able to function in society. Even if he's able to get his emotions under control and he starts taking his medication regularly, he's just flat-out lazy and stupid. I doubt he would be able to keep a simple retail job like the one he previously had at Target (or Walmart or whatever it was) because he doesn't have a work ethic. His mother gives him everything he needs and that's never going to change because the only reason she keeps him around is because she's just as lonely as Jace.

This all being said, Jace is a funny person. Watching him just act the way he acts normally is incredibly entertaining when he isn't depressed or angry. I think the best thing for Jace would be for him to break away from the trolls (FlyAwayNow, CIADude, etc.) permeating his every day life and then find a way to channel his personality into something productive. If Jace just had self-control and real friends, he could actually make some money for himself doing things that he enjoys doing.
