If we add Penis Postcount, I can't wait for the influx of even more people complaining that they can't browse Facepunch on the go.
Posting in the Rust sub-forum should take away two portions of your FPenis for each post you make there.

The post counter should be replaced with a 3 part image.
Base:
Middle:
End:
Every 500 posts or something like that gives you a middle segment.
So 0 posts starts you with
10,000 posts gives you a

The polidicks SH split really doesn't seem enforced/enforcable. Like a fourth the threads in SH are political.
Which is kind of the problem with this split, a lot of stuff is borderline. Like most of these

Military actions don't seem fair to be in polidicks IMO, same with terrorist attacks/murders
Military actions don't seem fair to be in polidicks IMO, same with terrorist attacks/murders
When the terrorist attacks and murders are politically motivated though?
Like the thing I posted about some sick fuck murdering a bunch of babies. Obviously that's not political. Two chaps getting murdered by interrupting an islamophobic tirade is pretty political. Or at least you have to admit that that's the direction the thread is going to inevitably turn to.
I don't really think you'll find something more political than military actions.
Well it's less political as it is religious, and religion is very much so intertwined in politics.
Also, military action isn't always political. The majority of the operations the military does never have a politician's hand or influence in them. Then again, most of those never get any news because it's business as usual.

The massive elephant in the room though is the policy in effect that leads the actions to be carried, that's what I'm referring to and why I think military news is political. It's pretty much an inevitable discussion those threads will bring out.
I don't think military threads need something like blanket over them like that. Let's say ISIS tries to raid some military base and fails, everyone's happy about the outcome. Does that deserve to be thrown into Polidicks? Most of the posts should and would be along the lines of 'yeah fuck isis,' or some other platitudes that they usually are.
I think it should be left to the user's judgement and on a case-by-case basis. But of course, this isn't a perfect world and I can understand where you're coming from, people like Tudd are going to try and skirt the rules and pretend like they didn't know that particular thread doesn't belong there.
Political news to me means, that actual politicians are involved somehow, I think that's a p good disctinction.

Actually I have contacted the mod team to try to be quite clear how this system works.
You are completely assuming all I care about is trying to blur lines with Polidicks and SH in a malevolent way. I am actually quite for the system as is and the only reason I have been here for so long is trying to respect the rules. I even helped suggest to Hezzy some ideas during the april fools event we did with the inception of Polidicks. But everyone has to acknowledge there is a blur on social issues that happen to have political consequences or forces operating in the background.
For example, the Polidicks source rule doesn't show up in the SH rules and people have used obscure or often non-news outlet sources and that is perfectly fine, but you have to question what sources are allowed their in SH compared to Polidicks when you want to talk about a Pokemon event or perhaps use a source that is still high on factual reporting.
Even the one time I was banned for "Wrong section. You know better." I contest this thoroughly. The only thing that makes it exceptional in a political sense is the mention of Trump, but then you have a thread like this that is very similar in its political nature. These types of stories and events are very similar because they are social problems that can lead to political commentary and thus be blurry on distinction. I did not post this thread trying to break or blur the rules. Instead I observed that Polidicks was more of a place to post news directly out of the white house, press releases on political issues, or policy-making, and I think that is a fair assessment of what the majority of Polidicks contains.
It is not obvious what section to put such articles in. Especially with the threads that were just listed as examples, there is hardly a clear-cut rule on what is "too" Political for SH for news like this that is more of a social problem than a political news piece.
First of all, that post wasn't about you, it was using you as an example.
Second of all, that post was wrong section not because of (or rather, not just because of) the mention of Trump, but because the 'false flag' pertained to the political topic of same-sex marriage and it's legality and how it's a fundamental part of conservatives platform nowadays. If you don't understand how all these factors are important in determining just how that story is political, then you're seriously lacking in critical thinking.
First of all, that post wasn't about you, it was using you as an example.
What an amazing difference. Not about me, but let me talk about Tudd cause he is a good example of what I am talking about.

So why is this thread exceptionally different? This is a man who stabbed people based on the political beliefs he had and deals with the greater political discussion over Trump and Islam.
Or this? How is a business practice that is political statement on same-sex marriage and it's legality not intertwined with the Politics to the point of being in the "wrong section." Hell, I literally just used the same argument you just made right here.

Instead of dismissing me as someone with out critical thinking skills, how about you start being honest here?
Alose, there isn't a tool for fact checking niche news sites and a lot of SH content comes from video game articles that fit in that category. There is no way to root out a bunch of shit like you can in Polidicks with politifact and other sources, so SH should be reserved for this non-political content where getting "the right side of the story" isn't really important.
Case in point: who's side are you on in a report about someone being found murdered? The murderer's side? If you posted an article that had a bias so abused that it said that the murderer did a great job, you would (and should) get banned for such a shit thread.
edit: you already made a reply, nice breaking me merge u ninja

So you must agree with my point that SH probably needs a more comprehensive source rule than Polidicks since the news discussed there can easily come from non-news outlets.

No disagreement from me on here, and I am for using the current system to keep sources in a orderly fashion that is somewhat a standard for less biased news.

You're foolish if you don't think you're not already a well known user on the forum, specifically for pushing the boundaries of being banned, at least in people's minds even if that is not the actual case. So yes, I had no intention of a call out there. Good job thinking everyone is out to get you, Tudd.

I'm not a mod and I'm not the one who bans or doesn't ban people for these things, so calling me out on my 'honesty' on threads I've never commented on is pretty strawman-e lol. I only remarked my opinion on the thread you posted and why I think it's worthy of a ban and my agreeance with the mods.

I never said I agreed with you? I was making a case that you can't have a more comprehensive rule set and that's how it should be. Non-"news" outlets are fine because primary sources are still fine.
