seriously what was up with his obsession posting game updates they were always minutes if not seconds after the update came out
In the tf2 section on FP he listed updates religiously and updated the threads regularly, if someone posted an update before him he would try to redirect people to his thread it was great. He's on all the update mailing lists.
you severely underestimate how horrifically obsessed with being the first some people are
first reply
the best around [t]https://tenryuu.blob.core.windows.net/astrid/17-06-29_01-25-21-Forums_Discussion_v2_-_Look_at_Craptasket's_Avatar.png[/t]
What's with Imgur being so shit lately? They're not supposed to delete images unless they break the rules (pretty sure that didn't) or if it hasn't had any views for six months.
theyre slowly going the photobucket/imageshack route where you can only see their images if you're on their site (no direct links and such) it's time to migrate elsewhere
What's an acceptable alternate host? I'd go back to Horobox (which I only even changed from because Imgur's uploaded images view is a lot better than Horobox's list view) but I know awhile back Reagy updated it so my account probably no longer exists.
It has to be a bot setup. Unless he spends every minute of everyday pressing f5 on every game he postes updates for.
he literally was subscribed to all the mailing lists and had like, audio notifactions up the ass iirc
theyre slowly going the photobucket/imageshack route where you can only see their images if you're on their site (no direct links and such) it's time to migrate elsewhere
Why do websites do this? What possible person looks at photobucket and says "this is a good idea, we should be more like this"?
Technically hotlinking is against their TOS. Move to Mixtape.
Try logging in on the legacy site. [editline]28th June 2017[/editline] Cubeupload is the closest thing to imgur afaik. Haven't used it since 2011 so I'm not up to date on their file/deletion policy.
Unfortunately I'm either getting my username wrong (my account there is old enough that I don't remember if it's my old username or not) or I don't remember my password and the the forgotten password dialog has been disabled. As for Cubeupload, people say it's good but it's always been incredibly slow for me. Like 90% of the time a page on Facepunch is loading slowly it turns out to be because it's struggling to load something from there.
seriously what was up with his obsession posting game updates they were always minutes if not seconds after the update came out
He still does it on reddit
Reminder that this is literally in imgur's terms of service.
Also, don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network. If you do – and we will be the judge – or if you do anything illegal, in addition to any other legal rights we may have, we will ban you along with the site you're hotlinking from, delete all your images, report you to the authorities if necessary, and prevent you from viewing any images hosted on Imgur.com. We mean it.
Use an alternative. Cubeupload and vgy.me are good contenders.
You are not drunk. You are so close to the truth. It will be revealed to you upon posting a particular feline in LMAO pics. You must hurry.
Way ahead of you, check my ban log.
Probably been asked before, but I've only just thought about it. Can new members see the oify on homepage or is it some old/gold member thing?
Any user has the privilege of viewing the OIFY after registering
Any user has the privilege of viewing the OIFY after registering
should that be privilege or burden
should that be privilege or burden
A curse
Technically hotlinking is against their TOS. use picpar and avoid depraved weebs

I'd go with the one that keeps my files alive for longer. Also:
So when we saw a dual 2.4ghz octo-core with hyperthreading with 128gb of ram for a steal. So that’s 16 physical cores and 32 logical threads about 2-4 times more than we currently had and about 4 times the memory for the same price. And the disk configuration was just something we could not beat, 9 SSDs drives. Not only were the drives super fast, we’d be able to use RAID to increase the speed further. And with 9 drives, it didn’t matter how small they were, it was still was 10 times more than we had. A find like this quickly draw a close to any discussion or arguments we had over various options.
They didn't spend any more than they were previously spending.
All hotlinking image hosts are gonna die, simply because they can't make any money through advertising if you don't visit their site. So unless they find a way to sell metadata, which I don't think anyone wants, you are sool.
should that be privilege or burden
privilege
Just popping in quickly to shill for Wduwant for image hosting its really good

If I could be arsed I would make it more than just a pomf clone but for most purposes, it works fine as is, sorry. :dogsleep:
Technically hotlinking is against their TOS. Move to Mixtape.
Sure use Mixtape if you want to flag everyones AV filters once a month because the owner can't be fucked to run AV scans on the files that get uploaded. We need a true American file host, free of the plague known as anime.
Weebs make the best file hosters though, because they have so much anime to post in various online spaces to show off what they're "into" that they need a place which they can rely on to not take their lewd images down. Weebs run the internet
