it honestly might just be a geographical thing, since people who live closer to the coasts have more access to fresh fish and seafood

i have some friends who are mortified by the idea of eating japanese food("you eat fish like, raw? gross") and they're located roughly in the central united states

fish is generally cheaper than land meats here. catfish is so cheap that most commercial fishermen don't even keep it because the counter space is more valuable than the product

nah, i like the taste of coffee and too much sugar/cream just takes that away
and american coffee is the worst. at least from my experience, it's slightly bitter but the taste of coffee itself is barely there, yknow? so in the end it feels like all you're tasting is water with sugar and cream
