I would like to think that it boils down to personal taste. I like the personality and originality of what Rahkshi makes, and he makes it especially well for what he does. Yeah, I could probably find alot of other spriters that pay more attention to detail or can make things look excellent, but Rahkshis sprites are my favourite because of personal reasons that cannot be dictated by any consensus.

Depending on what we are classifying as a newbie, I might have said Elf if not for his little fights with Yusk (that was him, right?)
