what a disappointment
"oooooooooh **** "
Where is the skullfucking part? I missed it I guess
Man, why are the swears censored?
Because they probably made it censored in the first place when they first made this.
Where is the skullfucking part? I missed it I guess
No it wasn't there, strangely I was looking for the same
Remember, most of the stuff people said about it were still rumors at the time when they talked about it, At least we got the real deal with adult swim.
did you really expect it uncensored?
did you really expect it uncensored?
From Adult Swim? Yes
From Adult Swim? Yes
Adult Swim has censors on their own shows, why would this be any different?
Disappointing, but I'm still happy that I finally got to see it.
Adult Swim has censors on their own shows, why would this be any different?
because it's online
because it's online
Their shows are still censored even online :I
that was anticlimactic
I mean. I enjoyed it. But come on, they were guarding it like they were fucking government documents.
I mean. I enjoyed it. But come on, they were guarding it like they were fucking government documents.
Not really AS: Gief bitch CN: sure mate
It's really not called Aqua Something You Know Whatever, starting from 2011, a new running gag for the team is to change the name every season, it's really still labelled as ATHF
They originally changed the name of the show because if they produced any more episodes (after #100) it would reach a certain status and would require new episodes to be full half hour slots, which they didn't want to do or something here's their official responses on the name changes
The show moves its four main characters – Frylock, Master Shake, Meatwad and Carl – from New Jersey to Seattle. “Now with 20 percent more atittude,” Willis said. “We got tired of New Jersey,” Maiellaro said. “All three marry Courtney Love and move to Oklahoma City,” Willis suggested. “We don’t know anything about Seattle except it rains,” Maiellaro added. “We’re reintroducing America to what made them buy a TV in the first place,” Willis said. “We are so stoned, Rodney!” Maiellaro said. “We are quote machines” Willis said, triumphantly. The new name reflects the fact they will now fight crime, something the characters in the original version were supposed to do but abandoned early on. Whether they really will fight crime, who knows? “We were told to keep the show in color,” Willis notes. Are they still scarred by all the controversy in 2007 when people thought guerrilla ads in Boston were terrorist bombs? “We miss that a lot,” Maiellaro said. “We feel we can open up and talk about it.” “Without getting in trouble,” Willis added. [Then they didn't.] Willis’ off-the-cuff idea to get more free publicity? “Bring a harpoon gun into a public place and wave it around.” “Then,”he added, “I can Tweet about it.”
I was happy with it. People expected it to be like some major thing that would go down in history.
I enjoyed it, the censoring was lame sure but I was still able to use my mind to imagine what they were saying in place of the bleeps and that was good enough I guess
It was quite tame. In fact, I recall seeing a spongebob episode that involved cursing as well.
That was pretty amazing. I wish there was an uncensored version though :(
I never thought I'd get to see that, I always thought of it as a sort of lost tape thing that'd never make it's way to the public eye. Now I can say I've actually seen it. Cool. And the first episode of the Dexter's lab I've seen in years included a shit load of swearing, so that's something too. The animation is as weird as I remember.
eh, I was expecting a lot more cursing, like Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys plus building such huge expectations plus censoring, I guess if they just launched it and didnt make a huge fuss about it it would have been better
this is heaps better
Man, why are the swears censored?
because it was supposed to be shown on tv and it didn't. which is weird when you consider the spongebob swear episode made it past, different networks but yeah.
because it was supposed to be shown on tv and it didn't. which is weird when you consider the spongebob swear episode made it past, different networks but yeah.
The difference there is those were noises in the background disrupting what the character was saying, these are actual censor bleeps.
Well, that was weird, seeing them swearing. I was also looking for the skull-fucking part, but I'm going to guess that someone was just remembering it in a good way. All in all, good episode.

I can barely remember 8 consecutive minutes 2 days ago.
It'll probably be a bonus in some collectors pack DVD uncensored dw [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline] I like how the rude twins have British accents that's fucking hilarious hahaha [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline] btw guys, the swearing was bleeped with the production edit, seems like this is the version he handed in to Cartoon Network, says it on wikipedia Note: Rude Removal never aired on television. The online premiere, courtesy of [adult swim], designated this episode as TV-14-L. However, the online episode is censored and Genndy Tartakovsky previously claimed the censored episode was given to Cartoon Network but it was considered too offensive to air at the time.
this is heaps better
wow this actually was heaps better. it was clever and funny, and the censoring actually made it funnier.
this is heaps better
THAT made it on air but Rude Removal didn't? What the *car horn*
