I can possibly go if it's within a few hours from Tallahassee. Problem is my boss might not, usually people start resigning around the end of the school year even though we get significantly more business.
Damn, a train ticket from NoVA to Atlanta would be $103 down and $130 back. Guess if this did go down I'd be driving.

South Carolina has 2 votes. Also, yeah, Northern Alabama is good. I never head south if I can help it. About the furthest I'll go is Montgomery. And we're like Georgia, we're pretty much the center of the South-East as well.

How is Georgia less southern than Alabama? Is actually much more accessible for people, particularly from the west, while barely any different for much of the north. The only real difference would be the north-east.
Alabama is the westernmost state in the target area for this meetup, whereas there are 4 other states north of Georgia that have to travel down. Georgia is the best choice.
