Awesome Because we missed 2 weeks last year due to Tornado's My school doesn't end until June 1st. :(
Skip
If it's in Florida I doubt I'll make it. Doesn't sound like a lot, but another 4/5 hours of driving would kill me. The 10 it would take to get to central GA is tough enough. Edit: Yeah guys, if you're 18 you're hopefully seniors, which means you can probably skip unless those are finals week. Don't know how it is for you guys, but my finals were about 2 weeks before graduation.
Take a train?
From NoVA to Atlanta (what I put in to get an idea of cost) would cost $230 vs. $140 for my car round trip. From NoVA to Tampa would be $270.

Nova north Virginia or nova Scotia? Either way you couldpick someone up along the way and split gas costs
woo! Florida is winning!
Yay Florida
Georgia is the shit you guys, it's smack dab in the center of the South East, meaning it's fair for people in terms of distance. A drive from Orlando is only 8 hours to North GA.

8 hours is a pretty long drive that's the drive I made when I moved from Memphis to Chicago. Also what state it is depends on what state wins in the vote. Don't be a sore loser if the state you wanted doesn't win.

I guess all I can say is don't be surprised if only half the people you expected to show up do because of the state location. How are you even gonna decide where in the state to do it? Another poll?
If Florida wins, it's most likely going to be Central or North Florida. If votes are anything to go by though, then there are around 20-24 people in Florida. The max for this group is going to be 25-30ish so I am thinking that most likely even if people coming from further up don't come, we should have more than enough from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and maybe a little north of that.
Damn, Georgia is catching up to Florida. I live in Georgia. :)
How are you even gonna decide where in the state to do it? Another poll?
he said when the state is chosen, he will look around and pick a convenient camping spot, no voting. He'll arrange the reservation of the site, payments, etc...
Go team Florida!
Go Georgia. Alabama may not get to win, but I'll take Georgia any day over Florida.
Hey, Florida is pretty awesome.

I'll consider all the variables, Zed.
If it's north florida i'll see if I can show up, yeah
what is this other thread for the people who live near chicago
New York!
what is this other thread for the people who live near chicago
What? [editline]17th January 2012[/editline]
If it's north florida i'll see if I can show up, yeah
It most likely will be. I kind of want to avoid the Panhandle/far north florida though because that's the worst part of the South.
I voted for Florida, but you can't count me because I'll only be 17.
So does this mean we have to do a recount or something? Didn't believe something like that existed anywhere. Of course, Fort deSoto sounds good. Or anywhere around Tampa.
