anyone wants to take over?
I definitely still think this could be done. I don't know anything about anything outside of Florida, though. That could be a problem. Of course, if we agree that it's in Florida, I know a bunch of good places and shit.

Florida pretty much won already in the poll so it should be in florida.
The poll ends Feb 1st. I'll try and still host this but if my coworker isn't back from the hospital or able to work by like a month before this I'll let you guys know.
I'd go, if someone would be willing to come pick me up in Louisiana and not rape me.
but are you willing/capable of organizing something? [editline]23rd January 2012[/editline] Don't know how much that would come up in organizing it, though. [editline]23rd January 2012[/editline] Oh Ven Kaeo I added you on Steam.
Sign me up as the Maybe. I live in Florida, Currently I'm 17 but I'm turning 18 in April.
Too bad it is not NC, there are a shit load of spots in western north Carolina
Okay so looking over the google document I posted (which very few of you people are actually filling out. It isn't a suggestion it's mandatory if you're coming), I noticed a trend. There are a lot of people bringing tents, but who are not willing to share. Now, far be it from me to tell you how to camp, but this is unacceptable. Since this looks like it's going to be in Florida, a lot of, if not most, Florida campsites restrict numbers of tents. We can't have 15 tents with 1 person in each. Especially when I'm sure some of them can sleep at least two. Yes. I understand. You may not want to share a tent with some random nerd from the internet. Well that's too bad. Sleeping bags are private enough. We need to conserve space here. As it stands I'm the only one who will be bringing a multi person tent, and it looks like I'll be sharing with Barttool unless someone else brings one.
I'm strapped for cash but I can see about building/rigging/acquiring a big tent for lots of people.

Sorry fellas but if you wanna camp, you gotta share.
Yeah! I don't even HAVE a tent. :'c
Well, I think anyone would prefer to be alone in a tent but when it actually comes the time of camping we could arrange to share tents. You guys think I want to share a tent with Andres "Barttool"? With his sultry and sexy Spanish accent? Yes. Yes I do. But that isn't the point.

I think I might haave to bring a chastity belt. Oh god.
Me you and Barttool. In a 2ftx6ft tent. Awwyeah.
Ew who are you no [editline]27th January 2012[/editline] Also my tent is like... 8'x6' or something like that. It's pretty big. And I might actually buy another one specifically for this. Walmart has a really nice tent that has like 3 rooms it's like 12' by 16' or something. It's only $150 but if you guys wanted to pitch in for it, that'd be great.
But but but... DON'T ACT LIKE YOU'VE FORGOTTEN! Strapped for cash, but I'll see if I can chip in on a huge tent.
I could go if its florida.
Screw that, let's all go to Disney Land in California. I get in free! So lonely on the Western Front.
Looks like Florida'll win.
Signed up --- but put me in the maybe category. EDIT: all you people already in florida, wouldn't hosting it in alabama or georgia be better for the rest of us?
Signed up --- but put me in the maybe category. EDIT: all you people already in florida, wouldn't hosting it in alabama or georgia be better for the rest of us?
Florida is majority by a lot, and most goers will most likely be from florida.
Signed up --- but put me in the maybe category. EDIT: all you people already in florida, wouldn't hosting it in alabama or georgia be better for the rest of us?
The vote is to see where people would prefer it be. Florida is winning by almost 20 votes. It has 41. The next largest number is North Carolina, which was for a while being voted on by everyone in North-Eastern United States. Unless another state gets more votes than Florida by tomorrow at 7pm, it'll be in Florida.
I feel like almost everyone's just voting cause they live in florida. Maybe narrow it down to the top 3 and let people vote again :\
I don't see why that should disqualify the state of Florida from the hosting site. Obviously, more people live in Florida. Florida has won. Why should we revote because another state didn't? If the majority of people live in Florida, then it stands to reason that it should be hosted in Florida. Also bear in mind we have someone flying up from Panama to camp with us.

Ask if the floridians wouldn't mind driving a state up, would be better for the people who live in like missouri or some shit.

I'll go if it's in Georgia or Tennessee
It's going to be in Florida. 41+ people voted for Florida. That's that. No debate. No arguing. It's in Florida. I'll start looking at places to host it Friday. I'll be too busy tomorrow to look. Work and class all day.
18 in Florida. Put me down as a maybe, as I believe the 25th is the day I graduate.
