Stop delaying EP3 by commenting about Gabe.
EP3 is only delayed if you bring up how much of a fatass Gabe is.
oops.
It'll be just like the previous decade only with different numbers.
Yeah, yeah. Imagine living the past decade stuck with 30gb hard drives, cds, dial-up internet for most of the people, and all that 90's tech.
In short, there will be new technologies that aren't even announced yet. They'll just come in the next 10 years.
only time will tell
Hopefully the music gets better. Less heavy metal, more classic rock-like music, better Pop and no rap.
I'll write 09 on everything for the next 3 months.
Germany VS World... ROUND 3
FIGHT.
We live in the future now! Hooray!
From now on I'm referring to the time period I live in as the future.
Same as the previous, yet, different. Like any decade.
Facepunch will get hacked.
Garry will be abducted by aliens (or Valve) and forced to write GMod on Botch.
It's going to be a boring decade. World politics won't change drastically, the economy will fluctuate like it always does, and there won't be any enormous leaps in technology (i.e fusion).
But there will be small advancements, and that is the exciting part. The entertainment industry will continue to grow and make great strides in story telling.
uhh... Did you notice we actually made the LHC in just the last decade? Did you notice that laptops that were the size of a table went into a mobile phone? Did you notice that nearly most of the world now has broadband connections allowing for nearly instant connectivity to the rest of the world, that's not to say that most houses now has at least one computer to connect to the world.
You can never predict how technology will advance, not in a million years. For all we know we could find a way to go faster-than-light by using a warp drive this decade. It's not likely, but it could still happen.
I am betting people said the same about world politics when we entered the 2000's and what happened just a year later? 9/11. That whole event changed american foreign policy for good and made the US invade Afghanistan and Iraq. It changed how airports worked and how they operate. The PATRIOT act was passed in congress and is now monitering a lot of people which wouldn't have been possible before.
EVERTHING can change in the span of 10 years
We're all going to fucking die.
Lets wait till the 2011, the actual end of the decade
Just like 2000 actually wasn't a new millennium, or 1980 wasn't actually in the 1980's.
Quit the damn mood-killing spree, the number is significant and you can't stop it from being so. Such as it is, you are in the minority.
We'll start calling the year twenty-x instead of two thousand and x.
I've posted this in every 2010 thread, and I'm posting it again.
I'm calling it right now: Oprah Winfrey will be 2010's biggest celebrity death.
Deaths
TONS OF DEATHS
ESPECIALLY CELEBRITIES
It will be what like 2009 would be like if it was extended to 10 years.
Let's just hope tolerance isn't accepted for everything
fuck it's a bump thread nooooo
[editline]11:03PM[/editline]
automerge noooooo
I think we will run out of petrol, Iraq will be one continuous stream of craters where dumb fuck terrorists keep killing themselves. The Abu Dabi (or whatever) Tower will look like 9/11 (For me though. it's 11/9).
Shit, i just noticed 9/11 is 911. As in the emergency number
A still growing human population, more problems, more discoveries, people in the internet will still hate each other, a mix of new good and bad movies, music, and games.
Gangster rap will hit rock bottom, hopefully. It's been declining since 03.
Girls will be not wearing clothing they will be finally fashionable and they will feel comfortable with their image. Men shall have boners and no longer have to hide it when in a conversation with a beautiful women. They will respect the erection b/c the erection respects them.
a black man will be president
An abysmal clusterfuck of world-wide despair and hatred.
This. World's fucked.
Three words: Still no hover-cars.
Three words: Still no hover-cars.
that's 4
because there's no hyphen in hover cars yet.
I think It will be like the this one with little changes.
Like not being able to have up to date glasses that have the 2 0 in them as the lenses. :saddowns:
-2010- dont work as well as -2009-
"Recession" turns into long term economic sub-decline as wealth moves to Asia and Africa. Growing nationalist movements in the west during the late Twan-Teens, subcultures based off of youth rebellion, and my guess is the birth of another popular subculture group based of radical-Islam/hip-hop-culture/Arabic chants/wearing black/conservatism, growing immorality, perhaps something similar to "The Troubles" in the South, culminating in some somewhat large conflict that takes place around the year 2020. Some world changing event.
