That's why the piano was invented, no need to rely on anyone else for it to sound interesting.
Oh right because no other instruments can sound good on their own. I guess jimi hendrix didn't teach anybody anything. Not saying he was on his own, but The other instruments in his band were nothing more than light background and could have done without.
go die in a ditch :downs:
i love you too
Ive been drumming for nearly 4 years now and my friend has been playing guitar for about 7 years now. He is amazing. We sometimes get together to jam and have fun. Now we are getting serious and looking for a bass player.
Good bands FTW!!!! not the shit ones like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3FmlTvGxBI&feature=related More like this is awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_Aeb08DqX8
Trying to teach myself how to play bass. I can sorta play Seven Nation Army. I played cello for 3 years in middle school so I know what it's like to play a stringed instrument, but they're pretty different and I don't remember much.
Oh sweet. I just found my little brother's facepaint, so you can tick that off the list. Now I gotta write up some satanic lyrics and take some black and white pictures of myself in a forest and we'll be halfway there.
Way ahead of you buddy. Not explicitly Satanic, but it's the closest one I've got, since I didn't save anything from my reformat a while ago (I had a lot more before that time) Put it on Pastebin so it wouldn't be a huge thread-filler. I can't do any instrument other than the drums. But get me on drums, and I'm boss.
We should try to, yet again, form a virtual Facepunch band. If anyone is interested, just send me a PM about it. We'll see if we can get anything together. (I'm trying not to derail this thread any further, so this is the last planned post from me regarding this FP vBand. :v:)
Me and my buddies started a band late 2009. We just got together one day and decided to go jam together. At that evening we created our first song. Basically, it was something with completely random lyrics, simple punk-ish riffs and stuff. Since then we've created two songs, each varies in style, we're trying to find our sound. Now we're near a Lamb of God-ish sound, and might I say, while the songs are pretty easy technically, god they sound awesome, and we're playing our instruments for about a year each. We've even got offered to do a gig sometime in February. It feels awesome. I'm the guitar player. Playing in a band is a completely different experience than playing to your mom or Youtube audience.

Stick with the Lamb of God sound if you can (and if you want to; that is, if you mean the thick grooves in Lamb of God). We need more groove metal. :iia:
Three weeks ago I met up with a few musically-inclined friends and we decided to jam, just to celebrate the start of the December break (Sadly, I go back to college on Monday).
I also love to jam.
Drummer in the house!
I like to jam on my own, but its more fun to do in as a band
