Calcium, in all its forms, is integral to the body, the teeth, bones, eyes etc.
I was looking for an acid with Calcium in it or something to disprove you, but everything turns up as something commonly used in either an additive, or a supplement!
I facepalm'd enough when you posted this on facebook.
But facepunch? C'mon. You're just going to get shot down.
Lol, idc :P I thought it was funny.
Why did you have to add -.- into the thread title...
I felt like it..
It's funny, obviously anyone who's commented here and is panicking about ingredients in water obviously has never taken a chemistry class.
Fluorine's added to tap water for about .5 to 1mg/L of H2O, chlorine is 4 parts-per-million I believe. In bottled water it's even less.
CaCl2, MgSO4, and KHCO3 are all added for health reasons.
Who's freaking out?
Flourine is good for your teeth.
Don't they have to put an ingredient list on consumable products, or am I mistaken?
I felt like it..
If I felt like I REALLY wanted to make a thread about the minutia of cooking babies, I could make a thread about that, but I don't, why? Self-control.
Well since there's such an evident concern about water.
Most of the minerals/compounds they put in water are for health, and they are normally really tiny amounts.

what the heck are they puttin' in our water supply?

And tastiness.
God damn this thread.
Every time I click the thread list after reading this thread, there's ONE new post, and I MUST read it.
If the FDA didn't keep their shit together and allowed bottled water to fly without a nutrition label, there would be people bitching about the fact that they don't know what they are drinking.
The FDA is damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Someone will always find something to complain about.
They put things in the water to make you forget...
Ingredients:

Shit. -.-
For those who are fascinated by food labels stating the obvious, go buy any spice and look on the ingredients list.
You'll shit bricks.
But it's a mindfuck man, a mindfuck
For those who are fascinated by food labels stating the obvious, go buy any spice and look on the ingredients list.

I had a small packet of salted peanuts and was dismayed to see two 'may contain nuts' labels.
Stupid PC'ness.
The bottle of oregano listing "oregano" as the one ingredient transcends mindfuck.
The bottle of oregano listing "oregano" as the one ingredient transcends mindfuck.
Then you've got juices that say "100% real fruit juice" and on the ingredients you see "Artificial flavor, artificial colouring" etc.
Well, in America at least, there's flourine, even in the tap water.
Flouride.. in our tap water. Do you know what this means? There's a Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
Flouride.. in our tap water. Do you know what this means? There's a Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
No, it's just good for your teeth.

yes its obviously a communist conspiracy when its already in the water
Two hydrogens one oxygen
Don't forget the little sticks to put them together, too.
There's always traces of things in water. Even if you filter it over and over again, you'll still find stuff in it.
bottled water can have feces in it
so i get all my water from the tap which is regulated and has fluoride in it
No, it's just good for your teeth.
I shit in people's tap water supply just because of people like you.
Little chunks floating around..lmao..
You stole Lewis Black's joke. You will pay for this. :argh:
It's required to put what's in it.
Calcium is added to counteract the effect of water wearing down your teeth.
