The thing that bugs me is that John's killer will possible be eligible for parole in I believe 6 years or something...not very long in any case. I heard about it quite a few years ago too so I'm blurry on the amount but just the sheer fact is very unsettling. I kinda think that when someone murders a person who is so influential, so loved, that they should get a tad bit harsher of a sentence. It's one thing to simply murder a person, but to murder an important, loved-by-many person, you're in a different ballpark. I kinda wish he was murdered in a state that has the death penalty, because John's murder should have been killed. He lives on to this day [u]loving[/u] the fact that he killed John...why should we let him live with that pleasure?!

Oh also, if you already haven't picked it up, like my parents did for my birthday, I suggest you go buy Life (the magazine) Remembering John Lennon. It's a reissue of the one they released right after he died.

On the subject of his killer: the city believes that he will never make parole, only because his personal safety would probably be a huge concern if he were released.
Do you know how many people would go after John Lennon's murderer if he was released from jail?
He would most likely be killed or at the very least injured by someone.
