I'm looking for a boneyard AEG MP5k or just the body.
So I guess you don't want this 1000 lumen flashlight I've got laying around then
I'm looking for a boneyard AEG MP5k or just the body.
I have a Galaxy MP5K that I'm selling it with a great battery for $65+10 shipping Rewired it real good the other night. A couple of body pin holes have the small plastic circles snapped but I mean it stays together and shoots. Here's my ad: I got this Galaxy MP5K about one year ago from someone that had just done some plinking with it. I recently rewired it as pictured (top connector is new, bottom is old). The charging handle mechanism was removed in order to accommodate a 1500 mAh 9.6v Elite-celled NIMH battery that's also wired to deans. It's already packaged and ready to go. Has a decent rof and packs a punch around 350 fps w/ .20's. -Galaxy MP5K wired to deans -2x Hicap JG and Galaxy -9.6v ELITE 1500 mAh stick battery wired to deans -G&G PM5A4 Long Motor installed (upgrade from the stock chinese one)

I'm especially interested in the ROF, since that's a weak point of the Galaxies. If it's not too much trouble, could you dry fire a bit into a microphone and use the recording to calculate ROF?
Damn, if you left it stock, charging handle, and Tamiya, I would have bought it instantly.
Thats funny, because everything he did has improved the gun and its still far cheaper than it was originally. You can buy a deans adaptor and/or deans battery for like $10 and be set.

But in personal preference, I would have like a stock gun and then work with it from there.

But in personal preference, I would have like a stock gun and then work with it from there.
If you want a gun to build from the ground up, don't get a Galaxy MP5K. The only things that should ever be done to that gun are barrel/hopup work, a new motor for better rof, shimming and lubing for smoother performance, and new battery connectors for better efficiency. If you want to build a gun from the ground up, get a total piece of junk or an MP7 AEP.
I mean, I just plan to use it as stock, and upgrade it as I please.
For all intents and purposes this is a stock gun. I get that you want to make this thing your own and all, but if that's true you really shouldn't be looking for a used gun. Also, if you want to leave a gun alone for the most part and upgrade it on the occasion, you should not be shopping for a budget gun. Get something like a G&G or G&P.

I stop by there pretty often so I'll see what I can do, prolly use my phone.
For all intents and purposes this is a stock gun. CM is G&G tho

Unless you want to sell it as a package.

[editline]23rd January 2013[/editline]
CM is G&G tho
Exactly? They make good quality stuff.
Well, what were you thinking then?
If Catbarf doesn't want to buy it in this condition, I will. A good gun should not be dismembered for stupidity, and I could always use another MP5K.
Exactly? They make good quality stuff.
He was pointing out that when I recommended G&G, I was also recommending CM because they're made by G&G.

I own a CM16 and it's built like a tank. Well if catbarf doesn't speak up it's yours. I forgot that I actually already packed it up w/ the battery and both hicaps anyways.
when I get my P90 on Saturday, I might sell my MP5 so I'll throw it on here
What brand? A friend of mine was tempted to get one but all the research I did showed consistently bad magazines across the board, i'd be interested to see if it's truly the case.
Well if catbarf doesn't speak up it's yours. I forgot that I actually already packed it up w/ the battery and both hicaps anyways.
I'm just looking for a guesstimation of the rate of fire really, 10 or lower RPS like I've seen on some Galaxies online is a little too low for my taste. If the new motor and battery beat that then I'll take it for sure.
Well, what were you thinking then? [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline] Exactly? They make good quality stuff.
45 + 15 shipping?
45 + 15 shipping?
Eh I don't think so. If I do that I'll still have leftovers that I don't need and I'd rather just sell it all together anyways.
Anyone have an RPK they wouldn't mind parting with?
If anyone here is still interested in my SPAS-12, I'm lowering my asking price to $525 shipped with 60 shells.
Anyone have an RPK they wouldn't mind parting with?
i've been considering getting rid of mine since i never use it and don't have any functioning mags but then i would have to reassemble the gearbox and then put the gearbox in the gun and then reassemble the gun and then test it and then get a new bolt carrier and all this shit
If anyone here is still interested in my SPAS-12, I'm lowering my asking price to $525 shipped with 60 shells.
Yeah okay fine, because I can't let it go to someone else.
