God damn I was going to post that. Oh well, might as well post the video
Obviously you're not much better off than Canada if you're willing to make general stereotypes about entire countries. You talk about ignorance, and then you go and call all of North America stupid? That seems pretty hypocritical to me.
Point out exactly which part of my post stated that every single person in North America is stupid, then.
Most Canadians I've met have a really wry sense of humor which I love.
Sometimes though they have pretty impressive mood swings. Guess it's the French in them eh?:v:
Rampant ignorance and stupidity isn't confined to your piece of North America alone. Canada's got its fair share of idiots as well.
I'm brown, see? I have dark skin. One Halloween I walk into my class wearing the Canadian Forces' signature CADPAT fatigues. Some white kid with the IQ of a stale turd quips 'What are you supposed to be, a terrorist?'
So here's a question to my fellow Canucks. What experiences have you had of other Canadians making idiots of themselves?
Nice racism bro.
Let's assume 1 child is 1 continent. You forget 5 year olds ask dumb-as-fuck questions but you can't help that
Why not, right? With your logic.
Way to start a war.

When the person in question is 19, and I've seen many, many others do the same thing, why the hell not?
What you didn't really seem to understand about my post was that I was talking to the 'intelligent' demographic of Americans and Canadians alike. That, or you're just butthurt that I mentioned the skin color of the offending party.
Which, by the way, I felt was necessary to convey the stupidity of his statement. It's the same reason I mentioned my own skin color.
Most brown kids at my school act tough and beat up white kids :frown:

Hey guys, I'm french canadian.
Quebec is coo'
Stop the dissin' guys
More seriously, a lot of my peers are bigoted as fuck against "english" people ( as in people who speaks english ). Also, some of us (roughly 50%) want to secede to gain real self governance and all the power that goes with it. You guys must understand that we are puny(in terms of population) on this continent, and we fear that if we do not protect our language and culture it might fade away completely. I am not excusing the bigots. I wish we could live without nationality but for the time being no one want to give that up...
French is a official language of Canada, why would you need to protect it? Hell, a while ago (at least in my province) they added in that you need to learn a second language, and french is defiantly going to be one of the more popular ones considering how deep it's already rooted in. I know french as well, even though I really dislike the language.

As much as french is an official language in canada fucking Maine in the US has almost more french speakers then canada as a whole, except for Quebec.

Well here in Quebec english is obligatory and if you don't pass the class you fail your year.
French may be an official language de jure, but de facto it's not a reality.
Manitoba is the best province in Canada. I fucking hate Quebec.
Strongly Agree with you, specially the southern area's of Manitoba,
Also i find it extremely hard to talk to an American without having the subject "Who's your president?" come up.
But Canada has its idiots, like people who say "zee" and the Texan wannabes(you Albertans know who im talking to :argh:)

I don't see why its mandatory
All you need to know is how to say
"Where are the bathrooms?"
Also why does the rest of Canada have to learn it?
Its not like im going to Quebec or France tomorrow
How does Z=Zed, anyway? What does the "Z" sound in that come from? Is that some mystical made-up letter? And how do you pronounce "Zest"? Or "Zombie"?
But seriously I like Canada, they have the CN Tower, Niagra falls and kick-ass maple syrup.
I've been to Canada a couple of times, it's a nice place. Probably going to move there in the future.
Well I've said "Canadia" before, personally I think my home British Columbia is pretty nice.
Little known fact: Our country was named Canada after a group of mediocre actors in funny clothes stumbled upon a Native American village named conahada, and they thought that the village's name was the name of the country.

Ouch.
Edited: I sometimes think John A. and the others who signed the Confederation act were high.
There was one sensible guy there that was sure that conahada was actually the name of the village, but the others just wouldn't listen.

Yeah the Canadian side of Niagara falls is a lot nicer than the American side.
Yeah the Canadian side of Niagara falls is a lot nicer than the American side.
I don't know. I'd like to actually get up close and climb over the rocks at the falls themselves, rather than watching from the far bank.
