Ahh the other steps make sense now but the final steps are still just one giant mess to me. You're gonna need to explain them a bit better. You'd save some people a lot of hours and frustration =]
You literally just do RiDiRD on every corner which isn't facing the right way until it is facing the right way (blue on top of course), then do a U and repeat until every corner which was not the right way round is the right way round. The cube will look majorly screwed up throughout this step and it is crucial that you do not turn the cube in your hands, you ONLY turn the up face to do the next corner piece. This is the step where things go wrong when you are starting out.
Dan Brown's method is also nice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOgN7d1D-3s&annotation_id=annotation_52227&feature=iv

So... much... text... :psyboom:
So... much... text... :psyboom:
Indeed. It's not a simple task, but it is simple when you get used to it. With time you will understand what is doing what which makes it easy to remember.
Jallen, did you learn Fridrich yet?
Jallen, did you learn Fridrich yet?
Nope, I completed the cube a few times with petrus but fridrich is too algorithmic for me. I think I might try and learn petrus again though. Also, are you anonymouse?

my mate told me this a couple of weeks ago. it actually works :O
Looks easy enough to solve.
No actually if you look close enough there are 6 shades of white.
BUMP. I can solve the cube in 22 seconds on average. Using the Fridrich method with 2 look OLL and full PLL. I kinda quit cubing early this year, but I still pick up a cube every now and then to do a few solves. It's nice to know that there are 2 or 3 other cubers here on FP.
I could already solve cubes, but good job spreading the word. It's so fun :D
