If I love the book, I can read a 1,000 page one in about 5 days or so.
I'd say that I read the fastest of my whole school (in highschool now), also reached the highest reading level in elementary school when the rest was still at the first couple levels. :smug:
Same as OP really, but I can't read books that are 500ish+ I get bored half way through, I read two of the Mortal Engines books in one day though.
About a week for 1000 some pages if I'm really into the book.
600 page in a day.
I have never read a book, well, anything you would class as a book.
I don't get why everyone here's trying to be all cool because they read fast. Who cares? I can read faster than I do, but I choose not to. Why would I want a good book to end quickly?
Depending on the book, it usually takes me a 1-7 days. I finished the Harry Potter series in a month or two.
I am too cool to read :smug:
If it's a book I want to read, it could take me less than a week. Although I did read a couple books in one day each a few summers ago for school. That was a pain.
Oh, I forgot to say : School takes the fun out of reading. fuck you school. I never ever enjoy a book that I'm MADE to read.
It depends. I've read a 1200 page book in about three days. I'm now reading the second book in the series (also about 1200 pages long) and it's taken me MORE THAN A YEAR to get to the point I'm at now.
I read about 300-400 pages a day, depends on the book.
I can read 500 page books in about 3.5 hours if im that interested in them.
i once read a 400 page long book in about 5-6 days.
I don't read unless its for school [editline]05:32PM[/editline] yet I'm the only one in my class who can read a full sentence without chopping it up
I read a 450 page book in 3 days. I'm 13. How does it feel to have a 13 year old read faster than you?
Like 2-3 years ago i use to read about a 330 pager a week. I haven't read for fun in a while, my fucking English class has way too many books we need to read. Hell, the last book i read was either The Road or Kiterunner, which both took me ~3 days.

I've read approx. 870 pages since christmas eve.
I like to savor books so I hold off on reading them until the perfect setting.
I read the lord of the rings in about 4 days the first time i read it.
Depends on the ammout of pictures. I could read a book a day if half of the pictures where good porn.
[QUOTE=hexpunK;19515317]I managed to read Angels & Demons in one week while on holiday. Some random guy gave me it on the second day of our second week I think, and I read it for the rest. Shame I forgot how many pages that is. [editline]Edited:[/editline] I wasn't reading it non-stop, just when I was waiting for people to get changed for dinner or if I felt like not being an arse in the pools.[/QUOTE] took me 6 weeks to read it [editline]06:59PM[/editline] [QUOTE=Big Ben;19530381]I read a 450 page book in 3 days. I don't read books, I stare at them 'til I get the information I want.
Depends upon what the subject matter is. But I tend to read slowly in order to better soak up the information.
Can be a few hours, can be a few months. Depends a lot on other stuff that's going on at the time.
Usually in a couple hours.
sometimes i get so bored of a book i "read" the book without actually...remembering anything
