the bite mark on the jogger's arm doesn't look like one IMO

probably not a bite mark, maybe he was just a carrier and that was the first visible mark of the infection.
I dont know what peoples problems were with dead island 1 and riptide. I had a lot of fun with both and even though you were kinda misled from the trailer I don't see how its the companys fault. You just made your own conclusions and were disappointed when they were wrong.

I ended up hating Dead Island after a few days of loving it because weapon degradation is just horrifically implemented in the game.
this trailer basically summed up how to play dead island 1
i wish this game is closer to the first ones trailer then
so you guys noticed the bicep but not the wig?
so you guys noticed the bicep but not the wig?
because the wig was obvious.
The trailer looks really nice at least; hopefully it's not the only nice thing to come of this.
Those are some neat quality earphone he is using.
How about you screw off with your cinematic trailers and show me some in-engine stuff because you've fooled me once, but you won't fool me twice.
I liked dead island
but I still know how shit the game is
also, cinematic trailers don't show gameplay so they can't be that misleading, wait for in game footage before caring is key.
its not like they show something amazing in game and then it's not in the game.
Actually, Techland, the guys behind the first Dead Island, are developing Dying Light. This game, however, is being developed by Yager, who also made Spec Ops the Line.
I have my hopes for this one because of that.
AKA dying light is probably going to be not even nearly as good as they expect
No expectations, no disappointment.
No expectations, no disappointment.
No life. What's there to look forward to? It's a disappointment either way if they don't fix the flaws that were in the first game
Since it's a different studio making this I have some hope for it. Also, the trailer seems like it's actually being honest, so that's a good thing as well. The misleading emotional trailers made the game just seem infinitely worse
Dead Island was hardly a bad game, it had solid gameplay, something a lot of games don't have nowadays. Very fun game in my opinion.

Gameplay was about as solid as the weapons, and the "fake" open world made the game feel very restricted. Don't get me wrong it was fun, mainly with friends, but it was a bad game
I expected a more sophisticated campaign from DI1. To me it seemed like they half finished a single player game and then cemented over the rest with 4 player coop. Seeing as it started out as a single player game that got delayed to oblivion, this all sounds very plausible to me.
Also, the game had a very innovative multi-layered body damage system that never got past the concept stage. It seems like a game from development hell, 5th circle of unfinished redesign. I wasn't happy with the final product at all.
Sounds a lot like Jack Black and Aaron Paul.
I love JB's energy he puts into voice acting roles and his whole demeanor to be honest. If he's an important part of the game or even a protagonist I'll be over the moon.
is it me or does the beach look like Vespucci beach from GTA 5?•
I didn't know it was possible for someone to be this ignorant.
I was like "meh" before I found out Yager is developing it. If its anything like the way Spec Ops: The Line presented itself I'm hyped.
They should just make a movie and cancel the game, because their trailers are so enjoyable but the games.. not so much.
one of my favorite parts about dead island 1 was how when they first released it they accidentally released the dev debug version instead of the final version.

Or, since it's a different developer, they can look at the critics of the first one and try to improve it.
And let's be honest. This trailer at least reflects the game more than Dead Island 1 and its trailer did.
That sounded like Aaron Paul at the end, the guy waiting in the car
Please be Aaron Paul
dude
just make a movie staring aaron paul and jack black
its too bad jack is getting kinda old now
It wont even take place in an island wtf, that's california
It is weird that Yager is developing a title that will likely be confiscated in germany.

Good thing Austria gets uncensored versions.
But god beware if there is a Swastika in the game.
Oh shit Yager is developing it?
This is gonna be interesting!
The games gonna end up making you question if you are in fact the monsters to the zombies, wondering what you have become.
