I'm on 5kg per arm at the moment :3
How's that possible? I'm ridiculously underweight and I usually curl ~15kg per arm.
I've started going to the Y, I've been to the gym six times over the course of a month so far, and I am already seeing and feeling results. Everyone should go.
I do 40kg per both arms.
what lift? [editline]06:56PM[/editline] nvm, curl [editline]06:57PM[/editline] [QUOTE=Pvt. make sure you have the correct posture in every exercise else you'll get injuries from here to Kathmandu.

I've been exercising & working myself lately but I need a some good dumbbells, any brand I should look out for?
make sure you have the correct posture in every exercise else you'll get injuries from here to Kathmandu.
This, and execute your exercises properly
I've been exercising & working myself lately but I need a some good dumbbells, any brand I should look out for?
Bowflex actually makes a really good line of dumbbells. There's no removing or adding of weights you just turn the wheel to the weight you want and lift them out of their containers.
there's something about plain old freeweights that I like more than this sort of thing though in all honesty I'd just get a membership at the Y
I've heard people say that before, I guess it's just a preference thing. I too have a membership at the Y and enjoy the plethora of equipment they have.
in all honesty I'd just get a membership at the Y, it has everything you would possibly ever need and then some
this. cardio, weights, swimming, all kinds of crap.
Gym fags. Do it the real way. You won't have a gym when they nuke the fuck out of you. How are you going to work out then? You won't be able to and you will have a lame punch and die.
what lift?
What lift? Shoulders, biceps, chest.
I've been meaning to work out for a while. I haven't gotten fat, I've just lost the muscle I got from wrestling season. At the college I'm going to there's a gym that free and open 24/7.

I think a good 20 mile bike ride is all I need
Mountain biking is also good Protip: chicks dig guys who exercise with a goal in mind.
Prootip: go to college, They always have nice gyms, and even if you're not enrolled, they're usually available to the public for a fee less than most other gyms.
I love weight lifting
Very good, simple, easy to read guide. Bookmarked.
My brother stole my dumbells (I need to get more weights for them anyway) and my dad's run into some difficulties in installing one of those door frame chinup bars, so I'm going to have to go for a run and see if I can find a playground that's got a suitable horizontal bar. Why are all these new playgrounds so shit?
I have muscle knots so weightlifting fucks me up.
Stretch regularly. You can also massage the knots out.
That picture of the guy doing squat looks wrong... His heals aren't on the floor, he is leaning forward a bit. It might just be the angle or the shadows.
my dad can bench 410 a couple of times so he wins over all of you forever
my dad can bench 410 a couple of times so he wins over all of you forever
I know a freshman who can almost do that. [editline]12:38AM[/editline] in high school
Pretty easy to say over the internet isn't it?
There.
There.
mr tuff guy
Mountain biking is also good Protip: chicks dig guys who exercise with a goal in mind.
Amen! I ride my bike at 6:00 AM until 8:00 AM. I also do dirt biking :D
Amen! I ride my bike at 6:00 AM until 8:00 AM. I also do dirt biking :D
Same! though I usually ride in the afternoon after work. What dirtbike do you ride?
KTM 250 SX-F I got it in '07 and it's holdin up good. Always loved KTM.
My record on floor pull is 'bout ~100kg. It gave an awesome feeling afterwards. Today I did my record on the leg press. 200kg and 5 reps. Lat pulldown record is somewhere around 65kg and 10 reps. Gym is fun when you do it correctly.
Whenever I workout, I got for reps. Not weight. I do around 96 Reps of 40 at my home on everything. I don't want to have bulky arms.
