Alot of girls don't find huge muscles attractive. Yup, that's my excuse :(
When a girl says that, they're talking about those guys with no necks that are so buff they can hardly move. Very few girls find definition and a bit of muscle mass unattractive. How girls do you know that go "Ewww, is that a 6 pack? Nasty!!" or "He doesn't look like a walking toothpick, ewwww!"
Sorry I got mixed up, I was talking about fatty food and drink. I may have been misinformed but I thought you it should be protein you have, not carbs. I was told when looking for protein shakes, look for one with the lowest protein to carb ratio.
Perhaps, I've never bothered looking into shakes and stuff but that might be true, either way you'll need the carbs at some point and I'm not really picky about my diet so I just try to stuff something down after working out.
Oh, I've never thought about that. I tend to do all muscles groups rest 2-3 days and then start again.
That won't get you very far. You don't need to wait that long to work out again. Start off on Upper body then the next day would be lower body, and then back to upper body. Every day just change back and forth between upper and lower can take a break on the weekends if you really want. Or you can change it up a bit more, but I don't think working out then going 2 or 3 days without working out is going to be a good system.

I never said anything about a bit of muscle mass because I have it myself.

I would go Upperbody, lower body, upper body, lower body, running. 5 days of working out, alternating which group, and a running/agility day at the end. I normally don't do anything on the weekends, but if I'm really sore, I'll go jogging around a bit on Saturday to work the soreness out. But he's right, you should never have more than 2 days straight of rest. It only takes 3 days for your lungs to lose their conditioning, so if you keep taking long breaks between working out, you're going to keep getting gassed at the same point every time.
I bench 170 max right now but I'm concentrating more on body composition more than anything else so that's not going to improve for a long time.
