The reason the Bruins will win is because of the Winter Classic. The team that wins the Stanley Cup has played in the Winter Classic a year prior to winning. A year ago it was the Bruins vs Flyers, and since the Flyers lost the Bruins will win the Stanley cup, or else the chain of events is broken.
Fyi this has happened for the past 2 years (as long as the Winter Classic has been going on).
