I work at a Sharks Ice rink. Going to be cool to see how this goes down.
As an SJ resident and Sharks fan, that game tonight was great. They sure slowed down in the second and through most of the third but my god that OT period was insane. [editline]15th April 2011[/editline] Out of curiosity, what is it you do there?
Come on Vancouver Don't fuck up again
Also... Big question too all sports fans... Why does the NHL have the most epic looking trophies?
my dad is gonna be PISSED
:smug:
no he's not, they had no chance of winning and chara was rightfully pissed [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] read: montreal fans are crazy dumbasses seriously, they are, i stayed in montreal once and just the amount of shit after an everyday matinee
BORING DEFENSE FOR 50 MINUTES god i hate Jacques Martin

Why does the NHL have the most epic looking trophies?
Because the best sport in the world, should have the coolest looking trophies in the world too.
I did watch the game. See this? This is proof that anything can happen. Even scoring 2 goals in 2:30.
1. that wasn't a playoff game 2. that's nothing like the bruins game
You don't seem to understand the point I'm making. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. [editline]15th April 2011[/editline] I get what you're saying that it's very unlikely they would score 2 goals in 2:30, but there is a slim chance they could make it happen, which is why you do not take a silly penalty like that.
I mean the flyers came back after losing 3-0 in the series AND in game 7
Exactly my point, anything can happen in the NHL.
I've watched two Washington Capitals matches. Both ended up that Capitals won in Overtime.
I've watched two Washington Capitals matches. Both ended up that Capitals won in Overtime.
I went to the March 1st game that started the streak of like 5 games ending that way. Shit was so cash.
I mean the flyers came back after losing 3-0 in the series AND in game 7
reduced me to near tears i mean holy fuck they really blew that game 7
Canucks up 1-0 over Chicago at the end of the first! That PK was awesome by the nucks', and then right after we're down killing the penalty Hansen scores! I'm hoping to go to a game this year, I went to one last year and one the year before, too. [editline]15th April 2011[/editline] And it's 2-0 now! Daniel Sedin scores!
3-1 Now, fuck ya! I'll update the thread with Game 2 results sometime tomorrow, getting drunk and watching the Canucks game tonight. GO CANUCKS GO!
Sorry everyone, but I'm pretty sure the Canucks got the cup this year!
If my Bruins take Game 2 tomorrow, then I'm confident they'll win in 6. If they lose again however, Habs in 4/5. Chara needs to play with a sack, Lucic and Horton need to stop playing hungover, and we need to stop falling victims to dives like Subban's. I'm cool with dives, it's a smart play if you can get away with it, it's just frustrating as fuck. I believe they'll get it together once their nerves settle down. Go Bruins! (My Dad being a Habs fan makes him absolutely insufferable.)
Can't wait to watch Calgary lose horribly again. Or did that already happen? I haven't been watching much.
Can't wait to watch Calgary lose horribly again. Or did that already happen? I haven't been watching much.
Calgary didn't even make it. And woo! Canucks win 4-3 and are leading the series 2-0!
Calgary didn't even make it. And woo! Canucks win 4-3 and are leading the series 2-0!
Yep. Figured as much. I need to move to a city with a team that doesn't suck.
I love being from Vancouver right now. That was a beautiful game
I hope either Vancouver or Montreal win the cup this year. I'd just like to see a Canadian team win it for once.
Yep. Figured as much. I need to move to a city with a team that doesn't suck.
Vancouver!
Thread has been updated.
Fucking leafs never make the playoffs :C
I hope either Vancouver or Montreal win the cup this year. I'd just like to see a Canadian team win it for once.
I wanna see either Vancouver or Sabres win. Both really needs the Stanley, and their somewhat sister teams considering they were brought into the NHL on the same year. Also can anyone get me a link too a live feed of today's game for the Sabres vrs Flyers?
Good luck for the sabres... Just pray Miller doesn't get tired like last year
Yep. Figured as much. I need to move to a city with a team that doesn't suck.
went to see a Calgary - Boston game last year and we won 5-0 if i remember correctly sometimes i forget calgary even has a team
Fucking leafs never make the playoffs :C
They sort of got their shit together when it was too late, if they start off the next season like they ended this one they may have a shot.
